i agree that trump is not perfect ,
problem is people are losing trust in system very fast , sometime to revive trust you have to address concerns of all parties to solve this division and radicalization on both side that is only solution to heal and move toward better future
by banning someone from twitter and etc. you make him more popular and more powerful
now internet and social media sites will be divided in conservative and liberal , as new conservative social media player will emerge , more division in society , 

i think when china gdp will overtake usa . than there will be big political change in western world as people will start blaming old govs and etc . After that sudden  diminishing usa ( like any empire in history )influence worldwide will cause more nationalism and patriotism . which in turn will help populists more and more . i think this trend will grow .
if Usa dollar lose its dominance position than hyperinflation and etc , its tough to guess how things will turn
so better now take action , more innovation and more growth , less money printing
