Hello!

I have a weird problem. I have over 300 footages accepted, more than 50% acceptance rate and all uploaded this year, but I still haven't received the all app package. I contacted the support, and they replied that I'm not on the list and I have to upload more footages. Why is that? I'm pretty sure that I've already met the required amount.

Thank you!

Why didn't you ask them?

I did, but unfortunately still nothing.

I'm having issues all the time with FTP uploading. I'm using Filezilla client, every setting is fine, and my files are keep being uploaded over and over again. It's stuck in an infinite loop. I don't want to upload all my materials one by one, but I'm constantly having issues with batch uploading. I sent a message to the support too, but I haven't got any helpful reply.

Any suggestions?

Pond5 / Video format question
June 04, 2019, 21:04
Hello!

I'm curious what is the best format to sell footages on Pond5? If I record small clips and adjust them a little (bit coloring), should I save it in Apple ProRes, or I can stick with h264? Do the Apple ProRes footages sell better, or it's just a hassle for nothing? Thanks!

Pond5 / Review time on Pond5

Hello!

What is your experience about the review time on pond5? Previously it was just a few days but recently I have photos and videos which been uploaded 2-3, even 4 weeks ago, but the status is still "pending review".

Thank you for your reply! Unforunately I never had any sales on alamy, and I'm not sure why.

Hello

I'm curious is there any macro/midstock site which not require exclusivity? Or at least you could upload images from the same series to other agencies (even microstock) and just keep 2-3 photos exclusive to a specific site?

Is this possible?

Thank you!

Hello!

I'm interested about how are you uploading a finished set when you are done? For example, you have 100 image from a post-processed shooting. Do you upload all of them right away, or you rotate the files, and just upload a bunch of them every week? Does it really matter?

Thanks!

Hello!
I have around 1000 photos uploaded to stock agencies, but there are many duplicates. (Same scene from a slightly different angle, or movement.) What do you suggest, should I kick them or leave them? Could that negatively affect my income?

Furthermore I'm not satisfied with the post processing of many of my photos and I'd like to redo them, with different colors, contrast, etc. What do you think, should I upload them too and leave the previous versions uploaded, or I should kick them?

Thank you!
