I'm confused, how or where from I can close/delete my iStockphoto account, through iStock or Getty ESP website?

Click "Need Help?" and then click "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page.
On the pull-down menu, category=Updating my account, Subcategory=I would like to close my account.

They'll send you email asking you to confirm.  So, do the same again sending message via "Contact Us".

Yes, ESP site page upper right, there's "Need Help?".

I think that Apple or some third party will start to sell plug ins to make it more professional.
For the time being i keep using Aperture (still suits my needs) and will decide for a update/change in a few months.

Same here, I keep Aperture as far it is support my camera, still the best soft.

I've played with it a little. You can open a layered PSD file in it and all of the layers are there. Pretty impressive. It performs most of the key functions of Photoshop. The problem for me, is I've spent the last ten years learning Photoshop, and there isn't room in my brain to relearn the idiosyncrasies a similar program.

Very good  ;D I have same issue, I have no more brain-room for photoshop.

Yes it is only for Mac, my problem is, that I'm familiar to Aperture and all those storage and export features, but unfortunately Apple no more supports Aperture, so I'm looking something similar to Aperture. Tested Photoshop and Lightroom, they are not a same. I mean they are good, but too different.

and yes, it's a full fledged "cult" just like Apple, there's no way to reason with them, it's like dealing with creationists or radical feminists.

Yeah, you are right again, when looking a very old comedy AD-s and looking around it's still often truth, having PC you get much bigger and better camera, like here:

Mac Ad - Web Cam - Mac vs PC

and when looking PC home movies you get as well much more - also moustaches:

Get a Mac ad with Gisele Bundchen

Have a nice weekend :)

i don't care if they're a bunch of snobs with their 8000$ Leicas, i just can't see anything leading to sales over there, no forum discussions, no blogs talking about it, nothing at all, and this is bad sign.
Ohh, how you hate Leica people, I have something to show you, makes you feel better, enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7ftLN3zxoY

General Stock Discussion / Re: LIST OF SHAME :-(

Hi Borg,

good post!

I had previously in one micro stock site over 1000 images (still have some old images there), having regular sales, but unfortunately new changes and continually lowered commission reduced monthly income below 150.00 USD.
Now I have less than 150 images in prime.500.px and have 1 sale/month, but it's over 150.00 USD (additionally one exclusive use request $2500USD with 70%).

So I don't see much sense to feed agencies who offering commissions below 50%.

BR,

Kalevi

P.S. why they think, we are kind of slaves. We need to start revolution against the agencies who offering commissions below 50%!

Reading this thread reply's, I can see how stupid are Leica M buyers, including me - it seems you are right, I bought also Leica M-lenses, and get so much less "material" :'(
