Hi There, just circling back on this to see if anyone had any thoughts if photo sales have increased on this site since there was some previous talk of them working to promote images and their involvement with the stock coalition.

Does images seem to be selling more these days or if the feedback the same months back? Any insight would be appreciated.

Might anyone have any insight as to if royalties at DT have picked in the past few months overall? With all the change on people re-uploading and buyers moving around a bit was curious to hear any insights anyone might want to share? Thank You!

Editorial for Adobe Stock would be great. Obviously you have your premiere editorial branch with Reuters content etc. However there is a huge market for editorial content within the standard micro stock platforms and subscriptions.

Many clients would not be able to license images at the higher prices involved with the premier platforms, but this is usually made up for in volume.  There is a huge market and opportunity for a company such as Adobe with already a huge subscriber base to license editorial images within the standard micro stock subscription models. The volume and need for such content within the standard regular micro stock model is enormous and always growing.

This would be a win win for Adobe and the content suppliers.

are lots of others experiencing any increase in sales from DT do to the amount content shifting over to there?

any thoughts comments? anything? is it worth it to try them out for still image sales? Any feedback or thoughts would be appreciated.

how is the uploading process there compared to other agencies? Can you caption and keyword the images in the actual file in photo mechanic and then just simply submit them?

Thank you for the reply. Do you know if one can still go to earnings summary and see the daily stats and what was used day by day and month by month for each year? Will it still how the thumbnail of each image and show what they earned on each particular day?

So when you opt of sales.. can you still view the date of what images sold month by month and the all the sets in the catalogue manager with the earning amounts and contents of each set? Or when you opt out of sales is everything gone?

on the dreamstime contract page it mentions non exclusive content can earn the creator between 25-50%. I do not understand this... how much do you get for non exclusive uploads and why is a range listed instead of an actual percentage?

Also it mentions something about the SR-EL license. Does this mean you are essentially selling your copyright away? Is there any way to opt out of such sales?

I agree. I wish the post had more replies. We need to organize - the content is ours we own it and yet we allow ourselves to be taken advantage of. I support your idea however I do not know how to achieve this, I can not even gain momentum currently for a petition for something many of us would like.

We need to get organized, we need the top contributors to step forward, we need to make changes... this is the the time do.

I hope other will reply to this thread and focus on what we CAN do and stop complaining about what the are doing to us. Lets re-group... lets be productive and make changes moving forward.

The pull this out of nowhere will a few days notice in the middle of a pandemic when people have money problems as it is, and wants to steal money from the contributors for calling them out on this???

anymore momentum on this... next week would be a great time to start letting them know a lot of talented producers with very marketable images and video would like to contribute to them.

Lets get organized this weekend... start a petition to get them to accept editorial images and photos. Now is the time to strike! They have so much to gain right now by accepting it now.

So it seems a majority of people need a new home for their editorial content and would like Adobe to accept editorial images and video.

Can we stop wishing for this and somehow start and online petition and get momentum going for this? Now is the time to do this.

They do offer certain editorial content from Reuters ect. but that seems to be at a higher price point - is this correct? The thing is there is a huge demand for editorial content in microstock at the regular rates and packages offered. Many users would not be able to purchase the editorial content at those higher rates for those licenses, and there is a vast market for editorial images and a need for them within the regular subscription models.

We need a strong place for this content. Anyway we can group together and collectively push for this? Any thoughts? Comments? ideas?

So once you opt out of sales... is there is any chance SS can still make your images available to the clients? What happens if images were lightboxed or they were already hoping / planning to use some of them for upcoming projects?

If I opt out sales - will the completely shut down the possibility of the clients acquiring the images?

Also do you think they can do anything regarding payouts if you reach the threshold and opt out today?

Does anything think they will remove the opt out options in the settings?

I think we should start a petition for Adobe to start accepting editorial material. Now I think would be a great time for the that to happen. If a number of us express interest in supplying them with that type of material we might be able to get them to consider it more seriously.

What sites do people on here find the best sites for selling editorial images on? Its a shame that Adobe is not accepting them, as now would be an ideal time for the open that option up to suppliers.

Any agencies that do better than others in regards to editorial?

So basically, if one opts out or image sales - the account will be taken off line somewhat immediately and they will not be allowed to license your images to buyers unless you opt back in?

Also - if you do opt back in, do you images start from scratch in terms of rankings? If you had top rated images do they go to the bottom of the pile after opting back in?
