Over 5000 of my clips are missing, this has happened before, I have wrote to Pond5 support to re-index them, that usually restores the clips after a day. It's happens about twice a year, keep an eye on your port numbers.

The same stunt Tom Spota pulled when he was at ShutterStock, and it seems he is doing the same thing again at Adobe Stock, it's no coincidence that Adobe stopped support for their stock on Twitter either, seeing how the storm developed with ShutterGate. All to drive more traffic to their software subscription, nothing to do with driving more sales towards the stock side. Again if it was to drive more sales towards stock, they would have included paid content along with the free stock landing page, not after the fact, this is Adobe not a third rate website, marketing is their speciality. And this must have been discussed and planned long before it was implemented.

Again these free stock assets will have been picked because they are good sellers in the paid market, reduces the risk of Adobe losing out, and raises the risk of us losing out.

As it has been said before in this thread, it's all smoke and mirrors.

All this will do is is hijack sales from the non free content at AS. Pond5 removed the web size format because the cheaper format was hijacking sales from the higher priced HD sales there, their data showed untapped sales potential of $millions, and this is a similar scenario. Tom Spota did a similar venture at SS some time ago when he was employed at SS, buying clips outright from contributors to sell cheap on their site and their partner sites, they only wanted clips that had sold constantly over the time it was live on the SS system, this was to try and curb the prevalence of the rise of the cheaper stock sites out there, it didn't work. For this to be implemented with issues that has already been raised by Jo Ann Snover, it appears to me as being a rushed and ill thought out concept or that it's conclusion is a marketing gimmick for Adobes CC photography software.

No worries firn, yes it is lol, but really I have been so vocal on this on Twitter, I left SS when they introduced the new low sub plan for video back in April, but I understand what devastating effects it can have as a whole on the rest of the stock industry. I pointed this fact out when I announced I was leaving on the SS forum way back then, so I plead with everyone here also, make your point on any social media platform because other sites are watching and waiting to see the true effects of this SS storm

I have asked others to see if they can add it to their cart and it seems that they can. I terminated my account over 2 months ago, but I didn't disable the licensing options before I asked for termination so this could have something to do with it, also it is footage and not images that I sold at SS which could also have something to do with it.

That person is misinformed. Adobe will automatically remove duplicate files that come from us, so it is either not possible to do this now, or there's a mistake and some duplicates got through. You may have seen the thread in our forums a while back where people found duplicates on Adobe, but we definitely worked with them to remove all duplicates. If a duplicate clip is uploaded to Adobe from Pond5, the Pond5 version gets removed.

You can take your current P5 exclusive clips, opt in to GPP, and then files get sent to Adobe perdiodically in batches as we clear them for Adobe. You then receive payouts for every sale made through Adobe and our other GPP partners, which are listed on the financials page.

I will find that contributor's ticket and reach out to them. Thanks for sharing!

Just be careful, even though you have taken your media off @shutterstock it is still searchable on @Google and the item can still be added to the SS cart. But you will not see the sale, SS take the sale you get nothing. This applies if you didn't opt out of licensing first so it may not apply to everyone.
