shutterstock was really a star, especially for video but they slapped us hard, with those sub plans and royalties they do sell, by quantity they do - but our part of cake have became a particle.. after years of nor uploading on both SS and AS, first one is going down and second rises even with lower portfolio size

I have stopped with uploads for a while and actually sales went up maybe it is coincidence, but last few months are promissing maybe system reindexing or algorithm change gave some boost

Im talking about 4k you know what I am talking about in your case, content is a key, not prices but, with 4k priced lower then standard, you do misguide others with your strategy

yes, but what about others who keep standard 199usd for 4k?! Wasnt better to set your HD price close to 199USD, if for buyers price is not important?!

thanks to solid data earnings and few premium sales, earnings are way higher then average but its because of multiple factors dont get me wrong - Im supporting higher prices all the way, but Im sure that P5 could help us with our exclusive portfolios we are with their program from the begining, bit it is hard to judge if it is worth my non-exclusive portflolio still earns and I havent submited anything for more than 3 years

P5 resurected after long droughts Im still thinking that your experiment is just councidence, because many contributors have seen signs of life on P5 for sure, P5 left as our last hope, with very lively AS

Im not anymore sure that it is good to be totally exclusive my older files do sell better non-exclusivelly spread on all agencies Pond5 exclusive with newer files and equipment are almost dead silent at the moment, I have better sales with porfolios where I havent uploaded more than three years and with less files

yes, those risks Im concerned it is sad that they hold files for 1 one year after you deceide to remove them if they do not hold all files you have on other places, just move on and be careful next time

... no no, I haven`t agreed to send my files at all... they contacted me, but I don`t think that it is a good deal to have files there... maybe if they offer front payment per file, or bulk files deal... if deal is fair, you can calculate benefits and risks to post files on free download sites...

since AS oversell everyone else at the moment, there are not worries about this it is strange that they are doing that good, when I havent uploaded there for yearsand almost daily on P5 and not being satisfied with sales there it is not because the prices are high, something else is going on
