Adobe Stock / Re: Adobestock Review Time
« on: August 15, 2024, 07:14 »
Adobe need to update their 8 week review period as they have failed to achieve this incredible long time frame. I have over 300 images awaiting review now with the longest being 10 week wait. Things improved early 2024 but now have got worse than ever before. If they want to take forever to review images Adobe need to be honest and increase their stated 8 weeks and accept their embarrasment.

If you are a representative of Shutterstock, I would like to ask you - how much longer will Shutterstock mock its own site? What did you dislike about the old design? Or is the redesign a way to embezzle corporate money?

Good times have come. Adobestock checks works for half a year, and Shutterstock can't (or won't) fix its own problems. And some here claim that classical photography is not dying! :o

In the post-Soviet space, russia is currently buying the most. But it is understandable, they are interested in how soon the Jewish-Banderites inside Ukraine will freeze and die.
;D ;D ;D
Do you work in Ukraine?

Yes

In the post-Soviet space, russia is currently buying the most. But it is understandable, they are interested in how soon the Jewish-Banderites inside Ukraine will freeze and die.

What is this russian propaganda doing here?

Lol, 'russian propoganda'? Are you not aware of what is 'really' going on? 'Ukraine' is transferring literally "trillions" of dollars to a small group of pyschopaths that organized convid (never was a 'virus', still isn't - poisons were in the masks/tests/etc designed to manipulate ppl into getting permanently poisoned + more, as well as attempt to close small businesses and transfer customers to big box retailers)... And, actually, you should read this, quite interesting insight as to how this small group of psychopaths thinks - and what they are 'trying' to do: https://educate-yourself.org/cn/protocolsofsion.shtml

(BTW, aside from the whole 'mask' thing was part of a satanicritual - it was also partially designed to see who the 'slaves' were. I was shocked and astounded how many people not only didn't use their brains, but dutifully put the demondiaper on their face... it had absolutely nothing to do with 'health'... if there was "a virus" (there wasn't, see above) - then you would have needed an actual "gas mask" with actual oxygen, not a flimsy piece of material that not only was sprayed with fluoride compounds (to actually make people sicker/dumber/etc) - but had fibers (like 'asbestos') that could/would get lodged in people's lungs, making their lungs 'irritated' (i.e., coughing/wheezing/etc) - making them think they were 'sick' (in a messed up way - they 'were' sick because they were voluntarily suffocating themselves and literally mentally ill), then injected themselves with an unknown substance (actually, it is quite known, but most people that injected themselves had no clue what it was) - a substance that among other things - actually DOES make them now 'permanently' ill - and all sorts of 'side effects', health issues, etc (including the jokingly "long convid" which simply means someone is suffering more from the injected poison than another person)...

But anyways - yes, what that other fellow said - small group of (very "financially rich" + totally demented) psychopaths that crave power/control, and use all sorts of psychological techniques to mess with people's heads. Most of what you learned in school about "100 year ago" history is totally inaccurate. And the psychos LOVE playing "the victim"  to make them appear above reproach. They are prolific liars, and when/if confronted - tend to double down on their lies to try and confuse the person challenging them - because most (normal) people are good people, and find it really difficult to believe there could be such psychotic sociopathic liars. Sadly though, they do exist - and a good portion of them pushed this total con (surprisingly) on most of the world.

Simply great! Ingenious! Simply powerfully and convincingly presented the material. Moreover, I want to add. If I am not mistaken, recently in Brazil there was a catastrophe with a passenger plane. So, stupid and naive people thought that it fell and crashed. But in fact, it flew over the edge of the Earth, and then one of the three whales hit it with its tail - and so it flew into the abyss. But few people with their meager minds can understand and comprehend.
I would like to ask a few final questions.
1. Who raised and taught you that you are so literate?
2. Who drew you into this "small group of psychopaths" and how did you manage to escape from it? Or did they send you on purpose to stir up trouble among people?
And don't listen to any worthless advice that you need treatment. Even a lobotomy won't help you.

If Google translated the topic question correctly, then for me it sounds like this: Where do the chinese and Indians get their video materials?

A lot of nonsense has been written and the topic is very old - but my answer, IMHO, is that in most cases they simply steal them. As they steal throughout the post-Soviet space.
In my entire history in china, I have been bought several times. Hong Kong buys quite often. Sometimes India buys.
In the post-Soviet space, russia is currently buying the most. But it is understandable, they are interested in how soon the Jewish-Banderites inside Ukraine will freeze and die. They buy in Georgia, Moldova and occasionally in Kazakhstan. They buy oceanic equatorial countries, which I did not even know existed - but they do not buy anywhere else in the post-Soviet space.

I have studied this site in detail, but I still have not found any information on how to withdraw my earned money from it. If anyone knows, please tell me.

People, I obviously don't understand something, excuse my backward mind. Or is everything really great on this site, and you don't want to voice my question for the sake of competition.
I'll repeat myself once again.
What are the ways to withdraw your hard-earned money from this site? I didn't find such information on their site.

:o NO again  ;)
I NEVER did and I NEVER will use AI to produce an image (read history of my posts here  ;)).

I have nothing to do but review the history of your posts! Every day I am under bombardment and missile attacks from russian "brothers".

Oh-oh-oh ...
Don't say "Oop-p-p!" until you jump over :)
You, AI, are already using it - but you just don't notice it, or don't want to notice it. I won't go into details, I'll just say one thing - I've seen thousands of such categorical people as you in my life. For example, those who said I'll never switch to a computer, I'll always type with a mechanical typewriter :)
I can reassure you - AI won't neutralize you instantly! It will get to you slowly and unnoticed. And the most interesting thing is that you, without realizing it, will ask for more :)

I work with Dreamstime since 2006, always was a good company. They still sell everyday (they are not dead, nothing compared to 123rf) for me and being very selective, I only have few thousands images.

I've also been on stocks since 2006, and I don't consider this an indicator at all. I started with "Bigstock". It also sold well. But then stupid, unfounded rejections and months-long checks began. So what? Bobik died! True, Dream also sold well at one time. And now the machinations have begun, a bunch of similarities and other troubles (read the posts above). You are doing well, well, I am very happy for you. I am doing badly, as are others! And this is not a good trend. Let's see how many successful Dream like you are here on the forum.

I am not a professional creator like you - I am an ordinary amateur and take pictures with a semi-professional camera. Now I don't even take pictures at all - the camera is broken. Maybe that's why I have such a difference with you. Time will judge us. And I have only about 3000 works.
I repeat, I am very happy for your success on Dream. It's just a pity that I don't know you so well and closely. Otherwise, I would have erected a monument to you, while you were alive, like they did to Brezhnev. :)

There are many other things there that make little sense there;  total lack of QA, rigged photo contests, refusal to pay outstanding balance <100 if you close account ... list goes on.  It's a shame because it was once great agency.

And if you wait until the amount for withdrawal runs up - withdraw the money and then close the account? In general, you are saying monstrous things. Personally, I have never had problems with withdrawal. The truth is that it sells catastrophically little - that's a fact.

No, that's YOUR fact

Oh, I get it, this is your portfolio of almost a million works and 7000 downloads a month, and many, many people crippled by AI?

Few people have checked in - should I understand that the rest are not interested in this topic? The information is not displayed - well, screw them :)
Should we take any measures, or wait until it resolves itself?

I've been on stocks for a long time, it's even indecent to talk about it :)   I've seen, heard, understood and understood a lot. But lately strange things have been happening on Dreamstime, which I can't explain to myself.
1. Has anyone noticed that the output of your works in Google without logging into an account is one thing, and when you log into an account, it is different. That is, when you click on the "photos" or "illustrations" tab in your account, you see all your works. But when you find your work through Google and do the same procedure, you see that some works are not displayed.

2. Dreamstime says - we do not accept works made with the help of AI where there are realistic human faces. Ok! But suddenly I find an account in "Latest uploads", and not only, where there are a lot of works with realistic human faces. That is, it turns out that all contributors are not allowed to upload human faces, but especially close ones can. What is especially noteworthy is that the account was created in 2015. The number of accepted works is almost a million. Monthly uploads: 7000.

How to understand all this?

About a month later I started seeing this. At first I thought it was a temporary glitch. Now I don't know what to think. Is anyone else seeing this kind of mess?

14
Some people keep confusing AI with the broad term of technology and automation, but it is not the same.

This is not what some people confuse (if we are talking about stockers) - it is AdobeStock that has lost its orientation in space, having become overly addicted to AI.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Dump sites?

In 2016, a certain dude (one of the highest paid photographers) sold a dirty potato for a million bucks... to a guy who'd had four wines?

You know, when I first heard this news in 2016, I also thought that alcohol and sex were involved. But I was embarrassed to talk about it, I thought maybe I was exaggerating too much. And now I see that most likely everything was like that.

In 2016, a certain dude (one of the highest paid photographers) sold a dirty potato for a million bucks. Rumor has it that he is now selling the next photo, but for 2 million. https://www.kevinabosch.com/
It's autumn now. Harvest time. I dug up a dirty carrot in my garden and took a photo. Where can I find such a site to post a photo and sell it, no, not for a million - at least for 1000 bucks?

If you use "remove background" in PS does the image get tagged as AI and therefore create problems if you submit as Stock?

If you really want to, using all conceivable and inconceivable casuistry, you can prove that a picture taken with a digital camera is already AI.
It seems to me that AdobeStock may reject photos from a film camera if it brings good profits or is required to preserve the "reputation" of the company.

Absolutely right. Record a video on your iPhone, download the video to a flash drive and store it.
Perhaps the iPhone will record video on a flash drive, but will it be convenient for the operator to work with a sticking out flash drive, that is the question.

19
Will I be able to directly record video from an iPhone onto these flash drives? So that the video can be recorded directly onto these flash drives.

I dont have an iPhone, or such a flash drive :)  But for some reason it seems to me that you wont be able to record video directly onto a flash drive.
But even if this is technically possible, it will probably only be possible to record high-quality video with a tripod. As I noticed, the flash drive is quite heavy and during dynamic shooting it will move in the slot, and this will lead to loss or deterioration of contact, IMHO.

Off Topic / Re: What do you think?
« on: October 27, 2023, 07:51 »
Lousy answer , KKK had people in high politics , they even had  governors like George Wallace , they had members in police , their crimes were almost legal , and their crimes have not been
processed. Even if they were , you had judges that were also KKK members (cause governor picked them) would set them free. That proves that the power was in their hands.

So you would probably be the first to support international invasion.

Thanks for the answer.

Lets continue , feed a troll again and please answer .Where is that biological weapon , main reason for attacking Iraq ?

You're right, when you don't feed the troll, it's no longer a troll, but a blockhead!
I throw in some feed and ask. Where are the biological laboratories, pigeons infected with a deadly virus, capable of killing only russians, where are the combat mosquitoes, NATO bases and other crap invented by russia (the international sponsor of terrorism) as the reason for russias attack on Ukraine?
I answer right away - I know where russia has biological laboratories and where it stores the most dangerous strains of smallpox.

They pointed out that when they hired me, they were hoping for "human intelligence". Clearly, that didn't work out so this one was a swing and a miss.
Mat

But in reality, whose intelligence is it? Or are you hinting that if you work with artificial intelligence for a long time, become a cyborg :)
And is it worth understanding that you are no longer associated with Adobe Stock at all?

that's why I try to earn some extra money on AI now,and I will focus in the future, when AI will be almost obsolete,(1 year?less?) on editorials and photos and videos of specific places and there are also other things that AI can't do.

Why write this? Now everyone who has invested billions in artificial intelligence will commit suicide.
I'm afraid you'll become obsolete faster than AI. :)

no need for conspiracy theories - i've always been opted in and also get the batch rejects & long (2 month+) wait times.

correlation is not causation, especally when it's anecdotal

Absolutely no theories, much less conspiracy! There is no need for this. If this concerns my message.
These are the realities of today, predatory business and expectations of good margins. If I had voluntary slaves, who knows, maybe I would have done the same.
You know, I love anecdot too! Let's wait and see what comes of this. Then we'll laugh together.

this is called paranoia! :D

I see that unfortunately not everyone understands how an agency like Adobe Stock works, which works in a completely different way from "classic" microstock agencies.

anyway ok,I won't say anything else because it's useless anyway.

I pay five dollars per word - just tell me, stupid, how Adobe Stock works!
