General - Stock Video / Re: The perfect video stock site ?
« on: May 13, 2013, 07:28 »
My biggest problem with video stock sites is a low number of videos they offer. I really can't find what I need when I try to buy something. I use stock videos for my commercial productions. That's why I like sites where I can freely contact with contributors and order video I exactly need. The best sites for selling motion graphics is editableClips and pond5.

h264 video can be better quality then PhotoJpeg! It depends from settings. The only problem with h264 is it is not free format! Copyrights are not clear.

I think the answer is simple - taxes. In most countries you have to pay taxes for your income and pay another taxes for your expenses. It's became a little bit complicated when you do this with your earned royalties. That's why most agencies do not allow such exchange.

Big guys: currently I submit to SS & Pond5 only.
From smaller sites I like www.editableClips.com
I don't like iStock anymore.
