To answer my own question: You contact PayPal and request old files from 2012 which aren't available any more on their site. The receipts state that they are royalty payments.

Thanks.

My accountant prepared my taxes but I am taking care of this now myself as it appears that she made multiple errors and now claims that she can do no wrong.

This is an audit by the New Mexico Taxation & Revenue for state sales taxes, not for federal taxes.

How do I prove that my 2012 iStock sales were royalties and no sales tax is due?

iStock didn't issue 1099s back then.

Dashboard was there 2 minutes ago and now it is gone!  They would hate for anyone to screencapture what they are owed!

I did. I have a screenshot. They owe me $98.23. :\

Adobe Stock / Re: How are we compensated for these print sales?

Thanks for the responses. I would understand them buying an extended license and then printing one or one thousand. That's just fine.

It would be lovely if the agencies would inform us who their partners are and what we are compensated for those sales.

Microstock is some shady business...

I found my images on a wall paper site and I asked fotolia about exactly that question: If extended licences were needed for prints (when the image is the major value of the good).
And fotolia confirmed that that sort of usage required an extended licence.

Then I looked at the prices at the wall paper art and saw that "Price of image not included", and concluded that either they didnt sell many prints or they cheated with the licences.

That again let me to think it was an unwise partnership for fotolia to have.
and I did nothing about it, I just lost a new bit of faith in the agencies.

Thanks for the response.

Right, that's how I feel. We are already paid peanuts for our work as it is, and no way tracking sales for whether we are paid according to what we have agreed with the agencies or not.

I guess no one else has anything to say, or they are not concerned about potentially being paid 29 cents instead of $25.00?

I happened to see this picture of mine being sold as canvas print, image source is Fotolia. http://www.gallerydirect.com/art/product/stock/buckwheat-flour/45585215 I browsed around some more and saw that all the images are from Fotolia.

Since the images obviously are a product that are sold multiple times as prints I assume that we are getting paid for extended licenses. Are we? Does anyone know?

Thanks.

« on: January 19, 2012, 15:37 »
This is now the third time within five months that two weeks after requesting a payment I have not received it. Previously when I have sent an e-mail regarding missing payment they have paid me right away.

Yesterday I sent a message to them regarding this again, and instead of being paid now I received this message:

"Hi,

We apologize for the delay. We have forwarded your request to our payment department for review.

Kind Regards,

Fotolia.com"

Whassup Fotolia?!?!

Anyone else having the same problem?

Is this something that commonly happens with PayPal? I have not experienced this before.

I received this same e-mail today.

I just joined 123RF this fall and uploaded couple hundred images to them.

Huge rejection rate, in the neighborhood of 70%, and the funniest part is that they accept the images that are iffy, not good sellers anywhere else.

And yeah, all the rejections are for poor composition/lighting.

I might hang onto the rest of my portfolio until they figure out what's up.

Hey, I signed the petition earlier today but my name is not showing. I assume that I should sign it again?

I posted this at the SS forum earlier but that thread is now closed, so I am posting it here again; I think that the word "fired" should be changed. Bobby was a supplier not an employee.

And also, I think that people should sign their real names instead of user names. C'mon, how serious are you about backing up the petition if you are not even signing your own name?
