So you want to upload to a site that pays $ 0.005 per DL?

What if you get as much download as this one for 1 image? If I get $5 per 1000 downloads, that is quite a good pay.

But the problem is that all signed up user get to download the files for free! That's why I wonder how does this company earn money and how do they pay contributors.

And also there is a risk of losing your artwork value at the other sites since ppl can get your design for free on this site.

What do you think?

I am now considered doing this full time, however my monthly sales can never exceed USD$100, so i seriously need some help here. I do not know what is the problem and any comments or suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Currently i am selling my design on Shutterstock, Vectorstock and 123rf..Is there any other good sites to sell vectors? i have tried Istock and Dreamstime,and it's a nightmare for me as i keep getting rejections, not quite sure what is the problem..

Zip the EPS and JPG together, but not in a folder. Just select the two files for compression into a ZIP file.

Make sure the JPG is fairly large, also. Mine are usually around 5000x5000px or somewhere around there.

Thanks for the reply but i tried and it doesn't work..It got rejected again saying" Photograph declined-technical problem". It's a vector btw,does it matter?

Does it mean that it's only technical problem and i will get accepted as long as i fix that? I wonder is that an automated email sent out for every rejection regardless the actual reason...

Hi, newbie here! anyone here uses picworkflow as distribution tool? i have problem understanding how does it work.

I was trying out the system, uploaded 1 vector to Shutterstock through Picworkflow, and i realised it does appear on my Shutterstock page, but it is still under the pending edit section waiting for my submission. I was wondering is that the case that i need to go back to each of the site to finalise my upload, or am i missing any options from Picworkflow? It's confusing as i initially thought Picworkflow could handle the entire process from upload to site's approval.

And lastly, how do i manually distribute my file if i have more than one sub-format files? Does picworkflow knows how to distribute the right format files to the right site? I would like to know more about the picworkflow instruction and how do you manage it.

I have a shop in ETSY selling vector clip arts opened awhile ago, still struggling. I've done some research in ETSY, and i realised some vector sellers out there provide buyers a whole bunch of sub-formats based on the same file.

I wonder it is really necessary, as converting all these files are quite time-consuming. It's a waste of effort if in the end your buyer just need your basic .eps files. (Oh btw,actually what's the difference between .ai and .eps? Isn't it works the same?)

I wish to know what formats do you provide? And base on your experience, who are your buyers and do they usually have basic knowledge on how to manipulate vector formats alone.

Different sites have different requirements of their supported file versions. Some sites only accept .eps8, while some sites accept eps10 or higher. A lower version means the lesser effects i can play with.

Wondering how do you guys manage your files? Do you save every single piece of your artwork into consistent version for easier upload to different sites? Or do you save them depending on what effects you've used? Wouldn't it be confusing if i have different file versions in my portfolio, and i have to take note myself which site accept this and which site doesn't?

At first i was thinking to save all my artwork in .eps8, as most site accept it and it would save my hassle, but then i realised i've been limited of not being able to play with transparency effects and all. So i am wondering how do you guys manage it or am i missing any proper way of doing it..

I just started uploading some vectors to Vectorstock months ago, so far i have only a few vectors in there, still trying out it is worth my time.

I have 1 vector pending for approval for almost a month..I wonder what happened to them, is it something wrong with the system or just being slow...

Did anyone has the same experience? wondering are they too busy with those bulk uploads and have ignored my one and only pending vector...=(
