if he doubles his rpi with 50 over what he would make with a 100 he would get the same amount of money, wouldn't he? only for the time saved with keywording it would be worth it

I'd be careful with the guitar and markers one, unless you are completely certain that the isolation is perfect you are taking an unnecessary risk. From what I recall from my pre-exclusive times, istock is stricter than other agencies with isolations. Mother reading to children might get a flat dull lights rejection. If there are no artifacts in any of the babies they might be approved. I like the story on the first one, but would be a bit afraid about the dark areas on the top where the chairs are.
Just guessing here, should see them large and could be wrong.

I'm sure my absolute number was a hair lower than Sean's, but I too had a best week ever last week.
I'm sure my numbers are a "fraction" lower than both of you, but also having a pretty good run at the moment.
I'm sure my numbers are a "fraction of holgs fraction", but had BME, BDE, BHE this november.

If you choose Dreamstimes, be aware that your files while have to stay there for six month.
My selef I would go for istock, it s were you will learn more from your rejections.

I erased my files from fotolia, (yes thinking of becoming exclusive at is), and and files have been deleted from all their resellers (is that what they are called). But at pixmac the thumbs to my files are still visible, and can be found through a simple google search. I've contacted them and been told that it took 24h for update. But that hasn't happened. I apply surface blur at 15, 15 (depending on file) and mask skin, then turn down opacity until original skin is shown.
accordingly surface blur should not afect edges.
have had only one rejection and by turning down the opacity some more it went through.

The most I would ever spend in post processing an image is 20 minutes or so and that is only for one that has huge sales potential.
Wow, I sure have been wasting my time, that is a very usefull feedback Lisa. It makes me reconsider if my aproach to micro is going to take me anyware. (Sorry if I'm going of topic, but time spent on files is relevant when considering isolations)

Jonathan is right that through trial and error, paying attention to rejection reasons, and a lot of work anyone can improve their acceptance rate at any agency.
And for the most part istock's reviews are still among the most consistent and logical in the business.

once I figured the next equations:
istock, artifcats
fotolia, zip landscapes
shutter, sharp or oversharppened
my acceptance rates have risen considerably, so in this three, if I avoid swiming against current, reviews seems to be very consitent. Can't imgagine how being and exclusive to any of them would improve things regarding inspection.

OK, well I've been with them since the beginning, Im sick of the silly ignorant rejections. I sent a friend of mine 10 Images that were rejected for You know "Over filtered" the only thing I think they teach them. i dont use filters so It's always funny. Anyway He's Exclusive and has all the little BS hats, crowns and stuff they give you. He submitted them and Bingo all 10 approved. there ya go. Your Mileage may vary. I'll just submit through Him from now on. for what they pay, Who in . are they Kidding?
hmm you should have control tests and give those 10 images to a non exclusive with many sales, and to a newbie, and send them in one batch,and in small batches, on wendsdays, when tougher inspectors are on vacation, send some that are trully overfiltered and some that aren't, some that are very good despite the overfiltering, and some that can't be saved no matter how much filtering. I'm afraid that to prove something like that a more elaborate test is needed.

What was the reason? Istock have one criteria. Quality! SS wants pop out noisefree images. Even if u used Noiseninja 250% and saturation 300% 
Just resubmit them in small portions mixed with other images. Maybe boost the colors a bit...
lol that is so true, I would say that ss even prefers that you overstaurate

I'll post the answer here, just in case someone is as clumsy as I.
Sign in to your account, go to your 'Upload History' and click on 'View Images' of whichever date your image was submitted. Click on the checkbox of the selected image which you wish to delete on the right side. After selecting the checkbox, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Save Changes' on the right corner. The selected image will then be removed.
