Having taken a beating for the past three months I'm happy to see things being shaken up. Might even be able to afford hot food and new socks this month.

Nah.....I'll stick with my Ricoh GR

Picked up $40 worth of SOD downloads on SS yesterday at $2.05 each - almost felt like 2014 for 24 hours

Voted remain and would do so again.

I've no doubt the British people will make the best of it - but there are tough times ahead both for the economy and society as a whole.

Would be better if we had a fearsome and efficient political opposition to counter extremes -  but at present the UK Labour party is headed up by a beard.

Only broken this past week for me - but given earnings have gone down the crapper since 2015.....

Cohen a member of that rare group of songwriters who invented themselves, were not manufactured by the business or following a popular formula - Bowie,Dylan,Reed,Joplin a few others

Hard to find unique individuals in the current music scene - the most recent innovators (for me personally) came out of the rap/hip-hop era....not much since then.

Personally I still produce work but not so much now I've moved on to other forms of income.

A photographer I like very much is Kevin Russ* - he latched on to Instagram early on, developed a style (iphone photography in his case) built up a huge following on Facebook and other social media by offering something different, by standing out from the crowd. In his case driving around the US and living on the road.

Just an example, but I think unless you can produce like a factory, you really have to start using your noggin and look beyond the old business model....

* Forgot to add, Kevin has a port on Stocksy

So much for supporting Fotolia, I mean Adobe Stock.

My first thought. As long as it drives sales I'm happy - would like to see some communication from Adobe however.

Brilliant. First promising Monday morning sales I've had in weeks and the site goes down.

I think I'll just have a bong and be done with.

Diabolical - 50% down on July 2015 - worst month for about three years

On the plus side it has given me the boot up the arse I needed to get cracking on other business outside of microstock

Sunday sales on a Tuesday for me.....Of course both SS and BS are down AGAIN in the UK  "site can't be reached".

Get it sorted SS and stop wasting money on hippy stuff like yogurt vending machines and "collaborative work spaces where the essence of powering connectivity is interwoven into the design approach......"

July my worst month since about 2013 - Granted I have been seeing a gradual decline since mid 2015 - but this is an abyssal drop in the order of 40% off where I should be....even in this new era.

Time to put the cat on half rations...

People kill people because they like it - and they have a gun handy to make it easier to kill more than one.

I carried today when I went out with my entire family to dinner, had pizza and a shake, no one died!

I don't feel the need to carry anything other than a phone and a wallet when I go out with my family.

Ghastly June and July looks even worse - but I can't check because the bloody site is down AGAIN!!

About 33% down on average. Probably due to the demise of the Dollar Photo Club. Not good.

(2554 images in my port)

Along with others I can only think of those editorial images where I have London,England in the place and then London again in the actual description sentence e.g. Fleet Street, London

Anyway, I wrote back asking for clarification. Have to say the e-mail read like it was written by some keyboard mashing oik in the lower echelons with poor communication skills....but probably came from the higher ups.
