Veer / Re: 1st 10 Rejected at Veer
« on: January 28, 2010, 00:19 »
Don't wanna be rude, but looking through your portfolios of the other agenices it seems, that your whole image portfolio has no more than 10-30 pictures in it.
In your position i would concentrate only on 1 agency, go exclusive and establish a portfolio that provides regular payouts. You should concentrate on producing images than adding new agencies with a tiny portfolio.
In my opinion it makes no sense at all having dozens of agencies that never will reach the payout limit based on your small portfolio.

Dreamstime.com / Re: order of keywords?
« on: September 19, 2009, 00:42 »
The keyword cloud at dreamstime shows how often the single keyword has been used in a search by buyers. The bigger the word is shown in the keyword cloud the more often it has been used in the past.

As far a as i know, theres no way to order your keywords according to importance. All keywords are arranged in alphabetical order automatically after we submit them. This can be quit confusing, when someone is using coherent terms.

General Stock Discussion / Re: When you die - a microstock contact.

I would simply suggest to write things down and detain that paper with other important documents.

Make sure, you explain everything in detail, give URLs, IDs, passwords, payment details etc. and give your relatives a hint where they can find your important documents in case something happens.

I have no reason to complain about DT, too. They`re doing a fine job and show respect to interests of buyers as well as contributors.

Adobe Stock / Re: "Best sales" - amazing fotos

From time to time there are "funny" members at fotolia who think it would be a "great idea" to buy their own images via a second account.

I guess in two or three days this account is no more active.

Veer / Re: Veer Poll - now we got the stats, so what's the deal?
« on: September 01, 2009, 13:25 »
Just like sharpshot wrote. We should grant them at least 6 month of regular daily business to settle things down.
So, i will analyze Veer and my sales stats not before Jan/2010

Istock is definitely the most challenging microstock agency. But seriously, i like that challenge. Its the only agency, where submitting images is still quit exciting. Will the latest batch of images be accepted, or not?  ;D
