What is the iStock admin's email address?
I will contact them too.

I've sent a reply to the iStock admin with these new links.

This is a fast growing port.
Now it has 999 files.  >:(

Looks like some images are already gone, port and 900 files still there.

They will get it done.

Thank you so much!!

The iStock copyright team replied, asking me for image links or numbers so they could investigate. I had already given them a link to this thread. And pointed out that the first "similar" image points to the original for every image I checked.

I replied with 4 more links - the first four images of the 905-image portfolio - all of which are stolen, all from different contributors and told them I wasn't going to do all 905 as I think this set of 5 + 4 links should be adequate. We'll see what happens...

The stolen image is first, the original second in each pair. All original upload dates are earlier than the thiefs upload date

Thanks for posting!
iStock should close this thief's portfolio immediately.

I postet a link in German groups, so people can check if they are affected and tell istock if any of the stolen images are theirs.

I am surprised that these things still happen. Hopefully with the help of ai, thieves will soon be found more quickly.

Every agency could one day do a port check after the first 100, or 500 uploads and then eliminate the thieves automatically.

Do that for a year and the attempts will go down drastically.

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Is istock exclusive contributor worth it?
« on: September 01, 2020, 07:15 »
Unfortunately, iStock also has a long and sad history of unilaterally changing contacts, moving goals posts and screwing contributors over.

iStock exclusive's download targets are unreachable due to coronavirus slowdown.
Many exclusives will lose their current royalty level this year.

Realistically it is no longer financially sensible to create content as an Exclusive because of the majority of tiny value sales.

The bitter truth is this is not a viable business and anyone who invests to create content solely for this agency is subsidising the owners and buyers.

The only photographers for whom it will be worthwhile uploading will be those who create content incidentally.

The cynical moving of the royalty targets will quite quickly make the higher levels that many people have been receiving for years unattainable.

I'm assuming that the business doesn't really want many Exclusive artists, just a few to use as a marketing tool.

It's like being a lobster in a pan of slowly warming water.

If it is no longer financially sensible to create content as an Exclusive what about Independent?
Almost all the sales this month where in 0.01 - 0.05 range  >:(
Only video sales made some sense.
In my opinion video is the only content worth the effort in 2019.

yes...and that's why most of factory and top notch producer are shifting to video, so in probably a  year video will be heavily saturated and soon   there will be free video sites like unsplash. it's not feasible to invest money in micro stock that's the sad truth. sure there will be till a bunch of years with some potential but then ? doubt there will be a lot who could make a living out of this, and i mean  good living...sure if you live in some poor island of thailand maybe 1000 dollar make you a living.

Not sure about most factory shifting to video, but totally agree with you that soon video will be heavily saturated.
As of 2019 video still worth the effort IMHO.

iStockPhoto.com / iStock Exclusive 2018 download targets question
« on: November 23, 2018, 12:44 »
Have achieved higher royalty rates during 2018?
Will you start 2019 at the same royalty rate as in 2018?
Or will you move down?

I have about 8k pictures on sale with 8 different agencies, If istuck exclusivity can not reach the result I expected, re uploading the portfolio to the other 7 sites will be a great torture.

So now that you have your port on 8 agencies. Did you reach the result you expected?
What part of your total income comes from iStock?

I ve tried that with reversed :D

I ve tried to get in exclusive to Isuck almost one year before, my revenue down 40% almost, so if you give up isuck exclusivity, your income seems to increase by around 50% I think.

So your income increased by 50% since you left exclusivity?

What is the connection between China Visual Group and GettyImages?

Perhaps you want to add some additional choice to your poll like:

 - I cancelled my Exclusivity with iStock
 - I closed my Getty account and pulled all of my images off of iStock

Thanks for your suggestion!
The poll has been updated.

Less than 100 dollars with 4200 files, but i havent been uploading.

One video for 10 dollars, the other one, a 4k...for 68 cents....

Really depressing.

How is your experience on SS and Fotolia?

NO, new images are NOT selling.
Same here. Images are not selling. Only videos are selling.

I'm not sure how other people are feeling, but I definitely feel the whole party winding down.
Sames here. Only videos are selling on my port.
