Sad news, condolences to the family. Seems like his words touched us as much as his tutorials. Opinionated and provocative but always willing to help.
Cancer sucks!!!

Nikon Canada is close to where I work and I dropped my D70 there after it stopped recognizing any card. The tech told me he had never the error message that my camera displayed at the time. That kinda scared me. Less than 2 weeks later my camera was ready. They said they changed a small electronic part and cleaned the inside as well as the sensor. Camera was well out of waranty but there was no charge. None! That was a nice surprise, I must say. I was expecting to have to pay something. I was really impressed with the service at Nikon Canada in Montreal.
Cheers,
Pierre

I was with them since day one also, many of my pictures in the most popular and no sales either. I deleted my portfolio (about 160 files) there about a month ago. I have a lot of nature pictures that I thought would do well there. Too bad, seemed like a good idea in the beginning. As a side note, my login still works, just tried it.

Hi Mark,
Congrats on the 1st sale there! If you look at the top or the page, you will see the word "downloaded" just beside "earnings" that link takes you to the page where you can find details about your sales.

I agree with Tome here, heavy discussion can be healthy. Diverging opinions make for interesting debates, we will not agree on everything but in the end, respecting the other party goes a long way towards keeping it civilized. I can agree to disagree, but I will never agree to childish name calling!..
On that note, Happy New Year to all here.

Hi Gregor909, I just rated one of your pictures, and no I don't read the gauges like the forum But in my defense, your link is pretty easy to miss. I got you covered now. As for MS flight sim, I am not a gamer and I tried it once with a friend who plays a lot of games and he can outfly me on the computer any day. Than is my only experiende with this game. It did look pretty realistic though. Cheers, Pierre

Hi madelaide, Sorry to hear that you are scared back there. The front seat has a much better window and not sharing what I see from there would be selfish. If you look at my pictures, you will see that they are taken at altitude, where things are a bit more relaxed. Sometimes just after takeoff or just before landing, I wish I was in the back where I could take pictures... Just came back from New York, and I wish I had time to take pictures there, too busy though.

Hey Gregor909, I'm not sure wich is worst to kill a thread, post an image no one wants to comment on or omit to post a link to comment on Thanks for the compliment on sky images, I am indeed a pilot. Here is a link to my portfolio: http://www.stockxpert.com/browse.phtml?f=profile&l=PhotopierrPierre
