Just my little experience, I tried several times to become an "external" Getty contributor, they never got back to me, but then asked my pictures through flickr....

That's somehow unfair... but unless you have a good "channel" to contact them they will try to have your material (if is worthy) in some cheaper way...

Hi everybody,

I joined DP in october mainly because I read a lot of good reviews about that, so I uploaded 500 photos, and they even granted that "Photographer Promotion Program!" to the contributor a fee for every upload (just for the first 500 though).

I have now sold 40 images in 5 month.... is 8 per month, and is almost "nothing per month" compared to the competitors with the same images I am with....
What's your experience?!
