MicrostockSubmitter / Re: AdobeStock login not working

I didn't have a chance to try until now. Did not change any captcha settings but all seems to be working fine now. Thanks.

MicrostockSubmitter / AdobeStock login not working
« on: November 21, 2019, 19:06 »

I have had this problem for a week or two. When trying to check AdobeStock login settings at the Sites settings menu, Stock submitter shows a data check error: Page parse error. (Unknown Nightmare authentication error #2). Before Stock submitter showing the error message, the AdobeStock login window seems to accept the password, after that the photo captcha window is shown for some seconds and then closed.

MicrostockSubmitter / Re: Error: Unable to prepare headless browser

"Language for non-Unicode programs" did not change anything in this case, but changing Region -> Format -> Formats -> "Match windows display language" to any specific language (tried Finnish and US English) seems to fix the problem. Thanks for the help!

MicrostockSubmitter / Error: Unable to prepare headless browser
« on: September 02, 2017, 14:39 »

I just installed MicrostockSubmitter on a just installed Windows 10, but the program hangs up at the yellow StockSubmitter start screen with the text: "Preparing headless browser...". A popup window is opened with the text: "Unable to prepare headless browser: 1 is not a supported code page. Parameter name: codepage".

Also tried running the program as administrator. Any idea what is causing the problem?

I only submit them the files i am willing to sell for $14.70 or something. Payments and everything have been working fine so far.

Nice, now it works!

Do you inform at the Updates thread when the change is done?

The first batch of my files having keywords more than the 120 characters was reviewed today and all of them were accepted.
An example:

Ok, i will inform later!

I tried manually adding keywords in the CVS file after exporting from MocrostockSubmitter. Added about five hundred chars as keywords, uploaded to Nimia and all of the keyword data was updated correctly. So maybe they have upgraded their system to handle more keywords?

I am exporting metadata in CVS format and have chosen Columns for Nimia at the settings. Is there a reason why it only exports about 12 first keywords? If the Columns-setting is set to "Default" or "SS importable", all keywords are exprorted normally.

Dissolve / Re: Dissolve price update
« on: July 30, 2015, 04:26 »
If Dissolve undermines my average net royalty per download of around $25 via SS and P5, I would stop uploading new footage. I would then upload only a few select clips periodically as exclusive.

Sounds reasonable. I think I will continue uploading only the lower quality or common subject footage that are priced under $40 at P5. Not all of it will be accepted for sure.

MicrostockSubmitter / Re: StockSubmitter Preferences

The ssb backup file of January is 136 KB, seems like a binary file ending with the string "config/metatemplates.dat".
I restored C:\ProgramData\StockSubmitterCore and the earlier settings seem to work again, thanks for the fast response! :)

I had to reinstall Windows and now i'm trying to restore an old (Jan 01, 2015) *.ssb backup file on StockSubmitter, but it only shows an error "Error loading backup: Unexpected EOF". I guess the old backup file is not compatible with the newest StockSubmitter version? Any ideas how to restore the old settings? I still have the old StockSubitter folder from the broken OS, but i suppose settings can be restored only from an exported *.ssb backup file? Thanks!

Yes, it works now. Thank you so much!

Yes, manual submitting of multi-word keywords works now. Just checked to be sure.

MicrostockSubmitter / Pond5 keywords with multiple words
« on: January 09, 2015, 07:37 »
I am using MicrostockSubmitter to submit video files to Pond5. Single-word keywords are submitted, while keywords with multiple words (like "frozen lake") are not. Is there any way to avoid losing these multiple word keywords when submitting to Pond5? Multiple word keywords seem to work at least for most of the other sites I am using with MicrostockSubmitter. Thanks!

Has anyone had any sales here yet?

I have had two sales of one video clip. Started in January, now about 100 files online.

Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia D-Day (Deactivation Day) - May,1
« on: June 09, 2014, 05:00 »
I am wondering how much bigger the difference of images count between Fotolia and DPC would be if no one would have deleted images from Fotolia or stopped uploading to them, but just have opted out from DPC instead. Currently I am not uploading to Fotolia, but this makes me think if uploading to Fotolia and being opted out from DPC would make DPC less attractive for the buyers, as the images count difference between Fotolia and DPC would grow bigger.

I can't get preview pictures generated automatically for new video files, this happened after updating the last version (probably skipped over the previous one). Pushing the refresh button does not help, tried rebooting too. Preview pictures for image files are generated normally. Any ideas?

Thanks for the great program!
