PS. My condoleances, becoming exclusive at the wrong time and then experiencing falling sales must be tough.

Actually, for me it was good choice. Regular DLs remained the same, but royalty has skyrocketed.

I don't think buyers from Thinkstock will look for my images at IS portfolio, that is why I have concerns.

Still waiting for experience from someone who is exclusive and had PP opted in and then opted out :)

In my case, and I guess in case of many other hard-working exclusives, subs are taking bigger and bigger proportion in earnings and DLs.
More or less, the same thing is with regular DLs - no big surprises at the end of the month, positive or negative.
On the other hand PPs are falling. As non-exclusive I used to have about 40-50 PP DL per working day, now it hardly reaches 15, but still, at the end of the month, PP contributes with 150-200$.

I am curious if PP amount will be replaced from some other source, such as subs or getty or even from regular IS DLs (not in number of DL of course, but in the $ amount)

And PP cancellation is one-way, irreversible process.

So - contributor cannot change mind if sees that cancelling PP is not such good idea :)

Hi everyone,

I became exclusive at IS about 10 months ago, but due to high sales and incomes from PP royalties from Thinkstock with only 2500 images, I didn't quit the PP option.
From month to month income and DLs from Thinkstock have been reducing, from around 1000 DL monthly down to 350 nowadays, along with reduced income from PP royalties.

I wonder, and kindly ask for opinion from other exclusives - will my regular iS/getty/subs DLs increase (and hopefully rise) if I cancel Thinkstock partner program?

1. step: Find out how you can register a limited liability company in EU states / India, there you are on safe ground.
2. step: Register a company/agency. It should be cheap.
3. step: Transfer all copyright from your name to the company, owned by you (or by your person of trust)
4. step: Newly established company should present the ownership contract to the iStock and other agencies and
There are no legal obstacles which should harm this process UNLESS agencies decide not to accept the existing images and allocate them to new owner (they should do so, since they did the same thing with Yuri and several others)
5. step: Remain selling.

I think diamonds and black diamonds have a hard time dropping the crown because the stronger you are on the iS the harder it is to leave exclusivity even if your income has dropped by 40-50%. For example, if you used to earn 2000$ a month and now you're down to 1200$ it is still quite a lot of money even though you had to change your lifestyle and cut the expenses. Going from 1200$ to just 500 or so as non-exclusive would be a serious no-no.

Diamonds, and especially black diamonds earn much much more, so it is not comparable, but you get the point (just add one zero)

or simply - quality has to be improved

But as far s I can see Getty generates additional income to exclusives to overcome the gap between reduced DL from signature and S+ collections

Very nice portfolio, I would say it perfectly fits into Stocksy, but most likely you don't have contacts who would push you thru ;)

Agree

They make profit on clicks, SS just advertises there, same like on many other pages offering non copyrighted images

19
it would be great if SS implements payoneer service, since skrill starts to rip off skin with commercial accounts
