In general idea is good, but I dont see it working in a real world. Because if agencies give contributors right to decide by themselves on where to put images, it will result in premium category looking not so premium after all. Because everyone has its own feeling of what is great and I think you know that now everyone is honest to themself in detecting it.

I think that probably the main problem is rapdly growing number of contributers and decrease of the overall quality.
And I dont think that anybody is able to stop it. Look for yourself: if you have $500-$1000 income each month, probably you wont survive in USA, but in some russian or indian or chinese towns you may. So while internet is spreading, people start to searching for ways to make money in the internet - and, if they have some talent (or time to dig in Illustration) - they pass test on SS - and start doing lots and lots of images.
Probably the inly way is to make reviewing process more strict, but probably no agency would do it (because this way they will get less images, and will loose this number of images in collection war).

Istock doesn't have lots of sales, especially for newbies. I am on Istock for about 4-5 months, and I don't get lots of sales (but when I get - they usually give me some dollars, not cents, as at Shutterstock). So just continue sending files with good quality, and you'll get it.

I would much prefer SS take longer and be more accurate. And consistent.
Agree 100%. I have never been a fan of 'fast' reviews. That is always when the wheels come off
+1 Firstly, when SS started to check work with this high speed, I was happy, but now - not so much. I wonder what this high-speed-checking have to do with dicrease of sales n SS for many contributors...

I think SS is working on search optomisation, because while some people are reporting that summer months are worst ever, others are happy with lots of sales. And all of that doesn't sound right.
As for me, August is pretty much disspointing, it has some more days to make it right, but the first half sound like it's Saturday day after day.
