iStock for sure.

Creative market is one of the fair playing agencies who does this means there is really something bad coming to contributors. Shady but that gives some food for thought on picking agencies in the future.  Those guys giving nearly 70% commission to the contributor can't sustain in the business for long. Either they have to damage contributor or just shut the business. Both are not good for contributors anyway.

Other side, those agencies paying around 15% to the contributors, obviously not going to put the same tax burden to the contributors. Or may be preparing more creative damages...? Lets see. :-X

Perfect example of why you shouldn't upload to every single agency out there.

Well said. This should be written in big letters on top of this forum  ::)

Edit: Replied to a old thread, ouch!

General - Top Sites / Re: Alamy passed Fotolia??

Also i noticed Envato climbing up. Soon passing dreamstime.

That's probably partly due to me. I filled in the poll for the first time last week, for Feb, and I make a decent chunk of my earnings from Envato.

Thanks for pointing. That sounds like these poll results are not so homogeneous and consistent. If a single big seller participates in poll, it can change the results to any direction.

Making money from stock footage requires a heavy investment of time and work - those giving up and * in the towel due to a 2 month wait are probably better off doing something else.

By the time the 2+ months gap gets reduced to 2 weeks, the rejection rates will be higher. Already faced enough of unreasonable rejections and being little bit concious about worthiness of upload.

I've been uploading there the last week after a break of a year.  Half of them are already reviewed and online despite being told that it would take 2 months.  Makes me wonder if they are reviewing them out of order.

I deleted all my uploads after 2 months of wait. Now knowing the fact that review orders not being followed makes me stay away permanently.

Envato / Re: Mood after 1st 2016...

That probably means Envato doesn't want non exclusive contributors. Totally unfair.

Great price! Going to upload some videos in VB :)

Has anyone been able to upload 4k photo jpeg through their ftp?
I've tried and the files get rejected.  Their own support team doesn't seem to know what photo jpeg is!

Yes, few of my 4K Photo jpegs approved in fotolia. However none of those 4k items visible in Adobe Stock.

Pond5 / Re: Pond5: What should we improve?
« on: January 13, 2016, 00:52 »
I am not sure if this old thread still being watched by Pond5 staff.

Anyway, I would suggest improving the review times. I am new to Pond5 and uploaded some video/motion graphics and waited for around 2 months and no reaction. I assumed the site was dead but looking at here, surprised to see Pond 5 in the top tier list.

Had no sale on Fotolia, iStock and Envato. thats understandable.

Seriously?  If I got any sales, I'd be surprised.  So I was surprised to get a Stocksy sale.

True..

This is a great news!

Just noticed that all my HD Fotolia videos appearing in the Adobe stock but still 4Kvideos are missing. When this will be fixed?
