It's not the 20th and there they are. All my contracts and earnings for months.

This is good news, as I did see a post on the forum that it would not be the 20th and it may not be until next week due to technical issues.

But seeing your stats come back 3 days after the deadline is encouraging

I have not tried Deepmeta, but the big difference I see so far is Qhero is cloud based (which I like) and Deepmeta is software, with a local dbase of images.

Both free so easy to see which features you like.

That's great! I still haven't had one reply to my filling in the error reporting form on the ESP website. Did you email their support team directly? Would you mind sharing that email?

Steve

I sent emails to [email protected] along with using the support form as others have done.

Took about 3 weeks, and sent about 5 emails over that time, with a final resolution. The rep at [email protected] was the one it seemed, that setup a ticket for me, as you cannot build a contributor ticket if you do not have access to ESP.

Hope that helps a little

Dave

I am happy to say my account is now fully working as of a few days ago. 02/15/17

I  was quite diligent in pursuing the fix, as all of you are I am sure.

I did confirm from one of the replies, and they apologized about all the default style emails and replies.

Where I saw progress is when one of my email requests was turned into a real support ticket, from one of the reps that I recently started to get consistent replies from.

Once that took place, I was sent an email with a link, pretty much the invite email and all is well now.

So I hope this is a sign for others that resolution is coming soon. Just stay with it.

Reply to this thread if you encounter after logging into ESP and are thrown this error:

------------------------------------------------------
We're sorry.

Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.

------------------------------------------------------

Now this would be after "resetting" your password on the Getty Site as what seems to be the current suggested fix.

Maybe just maybe there might be "someone" whom is with Getty that will put this on the fix list ;)

I think I am in the same position - no sign of any sign-up email even though I have checked all possible folders including Spam. I did manage to get at user name by saying that I had forgotten it, but all I get from ESP is:

We're sorry.

Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.

I've tried the "contact us if you think this is an error" link but nothing from them so far.

Steve

Steve, did you tried to go on the https://esp.gettyimages.com/sign-in page?
You will be asked for your username (it must be the email address you use for iStock, not your user name) and the password.
Probably the password will not work.
So click on "password" under the login box (Forgot your username or password?).
You will receive an email to reset the password.

I did that and it worked for me.

I did exactly this process, and same error thrown, "Your account is not setup in ESP"

I find it amazing, that there is none whom can just add us to ESP, to be honest - it is a vicious circle, as just sending out template emails and responses just add's to the frustration and only builds upon the amount of support emails and mounting pressure that whom ever is trying to tame this out of control migration.

They may think that just responding will help the numbers of emails / tickets / error reports, but does nothing but adds more to the PILE of unhappy clients that put their heart and soul into the passion they have for photography and contributing to the catalog of Getty with nothing more than hoping for Sales to earn their commission.

Someone over there has to take control of this.

Perplexed.

Exactly,

Getty, have yet to address this error.

I assume they have no idea at this point "how to" fix it.

Same exact error I am getting, among many others I am sure.

If I get another reply to my open case/ticket - emails from Getty that states:

All invites are now sent out; please follow the instructions in the email.

I am going to SCREAM!

OMG, Now going on 4 emails that I have sent, every one of them, that I have sent states:
I had an active contributor account in December of 2016, and never did or "cannot" find the invite email to ESP, (yes perhaps my spam systems blocked it) maybe it was deleted by accident. And I mention, please help - can you resend the invite.

Every gosh darn email is the same reply as if they did not even read my email.

Follow the instructions in the invite email, then it say's if you do not have the invite email, try resetting your Getty account password, which I have done three times and also note that in each of the emails I send to them.

How can this be happening to such a professional org such as Getty?

Forgive my frustrations but come on. I even left a voice mail message in the Contributor Voice Mail Box, which they will send you to if you call Getty Corporate.

So frustrating and so hard to believe.

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that iStock/Getty is not communicating with its members on such important thing as the current problem associated with ESP. Many people, myself included, didn't get the invite yet and many others are frantically trying to make sense of the whole thing. We must use this third party outlet to communicate among ourselves like survivors after the apocalypse.
I am shocked.

So many are having the same issue, I waited almost a week for a response to my support emails that pretty much stated I never got an invite email and the response was:

All invite emails have been sent out, and to follow the process in the email.

Mentioned to reply if you still have trouble, which I did, but seems I need to wait days before the another reply.

Will this ever end?

Seems so unlike what Getty is all about,  perplexed.

I didn't remove my 500px portfolio, but I pulled it all out of marketplace when they changed their royalty arrangements. I had intended to have exclusive images there (had even uploaded a few) to see how that went, but the writing was on the wall when they hired Kelly Thompson that the agency side of it wasn't going anywhere.

For your noneditorial stuff, include Adobe Stock in your mix. They're giving Shutterstock a run for their money.

Thanks for the good advice Jo Ann and Out of the Blue, I like 500px for a portfolio site, but seems to sell on there - not so much. Good point on the Adobe Stock, that is Fotolia correct? I have a super old account over there, just need to figure out what my credentials are.

Cheers,

PS. We love 500px

When you say you love 500px, do you mean as a place to actually sell your photos or just as a place to show your portfolio?

My experience with 500px is that sales are very very low.

Oh for me it is,  interface usability and showing your work - And from licensing editorial very low.

But since I am a baby at stock photography, Jo Ann could speak to the question of if 500px makes good sense for licensing as I can see she has a good body of work over there.

Cheers,

Dave | ModernPics

Taking a peek around, now I know why you asked me about 500px ;)

And me being really new to Stock Photography, I think I have learned more about it in the 1 day I have been a member here. This site is fantastic  ;D

Yes for me, it is one of my portfolio sites as I use zenfolio and smugmug all for difference reasons.

But Editorial stuff really / but have a lot of images in my archives that may be consider stock style images, and moving forward, will be doing a bit more Stock in mind shooting style when I am not doing a editorial shoot for one of my media outlets.

But I can see 500px is not such a great place to license stock images.

I think I will start with our account on ShutterStock and when iStock gets there stuff going on ESP, see how that goes.

We're sorry.

Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.

Please contact us if you believe this is in error.

that is the message i get after trying to log in with my istock credentials ( didnt get any mail yet )

Same error thrown after login as well.

Sent multiple emails for help,

Nothing yet (as of 02/08/2017)

I even called Customer Service for iStock twice, one person sounded local USA based, super nice, but confirmed the migration deal.

Then after the accounts should have started to work last Monday, called another customer rep. sounds like over sea's, very nice but did mention that contributor issues and or anything related to ESP only has email submission for communication.

Which when you email states, we hope to get back to you in 2 days.

And submissions can take up to 30 days for consideration (for our Editorial Content)

Yikes ;)

By the way, all my followup emails have not been replied to.

Yes, this is the error message I'm seeing as well. I emailed them on Monday, but no reply yet. Probably before the end of the month. Maybe.

*** Thanks @kb

At least I know I am not the only one is this "Boat" ;)

Hoping the best for all of us

I am just glad I found this forum, at first - I was looking for the "Contributor" forum, which is hidden behind the ESP portal which I have no access too, so that did not do me any good - hehe

Looks like these forums are better anyway.

Take care,

@outoftheblue,

I hear ya, I thought I was doing the right thing with the password reset.

And still, there is a chance that I missed the migration email as I have a couple of layers of spam protection.

But, I am sure we are in the mixx, it just may take someone over at Getty to fix our profiles.

Someone just mentioned they banned the migration, I assume meaning - "postponed" the migration?

Sometimes it seems like there is a only a couple of support rep's / engineers doing this migration, but I will tell you what else I noticed:

The Work For Us web site completely crashed hard, and when it sort of came back, I could tell not all servers within their anycast network were updated, as sometimes you refresh you get translation file missing, then refresh again all good.

I had submitted images for consideration which were all gone, so I resubmitted on the restored system, which does not have all the same features as the old system that crashed, like login, an ability to see the gallery of images submitted and ability to like them see view stats etc.

So something took place that is for sure.

Hoping for the best ;)

Got my invitation today. Even doing an earlier reset ( see below )  I was able to enter on same account.

DM2 report a new credit sale ( ESP site got it too, on downloads page ), but still missing almost 100,95$ ... duh.

I did not receive the email, but did the following:

In ESP page, I used the "recover password" option, with the email account associated to Istock (not the username). After that, I got into the ESP and the account ID is the same as Istock, like the other information. Even last credit downloads appear ( downloads not royalties ). I'dont know the side effects after doing this, but I hope no one die on process.

Now my "problems" are:

- My images appear for sale on Istock, but not on ESP / Getty. In both sites I can not manage to manage them (maybe they will be in the process of being transferred or something is escaping me ...). I'm non-exclusive and have some editorial stuff too.

- Account balance.. a sad history. had 99,87$ in 24th... 100,95$ in 26th ( oh gosh ). after some 2 days went to 1,08$ or something. DP v3 not showing nothing. My hope is thta 100$ should appear on 20 Feb., and receive the payment on 25Feb ( I'm a beliver hahaha )

I did the same exact thing, did the password reset using my iStock contributor email / and now I am able to login to ESP.

However in my case,

It shows nothing but an error that say's your account has not been setup to use ESP.

I assume, I am awaiting on migration of data.

Received one reply from my efforts of attempting to contact the ESP support team, only to mention a few deadlines when access should be restore which already have expired a couple of day's ago, to which I sent out another email for status, but have not yet received a reply ( it is on the 2nd day ) for that email.

But seeing this is a big migration, I may be at the bottom of the totem pole, as my account was a "new" contributor account as of December of 2016

Cheers,

Dave | ModernPics

We were accepted as an iStock contributor in December 2016, we logged in and started to create our profile.

We had some other projects going on, and needed to come back to complete our "tax interview" within our iStock Contributor Account.

Logged back in in Late January - and was redirected to the ESP.GettyImages.com site

Our iStock contributor user id and password, worked (had to do a password reset) for access to esp.gettyimages.com

However we are thrown the following error:

----------------------------------------------------------
We're sorry.

Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.

Please contact us if you believe this is in error.
----------------------------------------------------------

We did get "one" reply from our attempts to reach out - but have since gone past all the deadlines when we "should" have had our account migrated.

So we are pleased to find this thread as, we cannot get access to the contributor forums without access to ESP ;)

Anyone else getting the same error as we are?

By the way, all my followup emails have not been replied to.

Cheers,

Dave | ModernPics

I didn't see any links to your stock portfolio(s) - are you currently submitting anywhere other than 500px as editorial, or thinking about that?

First time getting a live person, thanks for the reply!

New to Stock Photography, Accepted by iStock-Getty as of December 2016 as a contributor and Getty Entertainment Contributor, is pending.

We are a concert/music photographer as you can see with our 500px profile.

We are new to Stock Photography, however of loads of stock styled images, not within any portfolio as of yet / but accepted by istock as of December based on our uploaded images for stock consideration.

The challenge at this point is our ESP login

We did receive a reply, from the support team for istock ESP but we think the intro email for conversion was blocked by our spam filtering.

Anyway, hope to have that resolved.

We shoot for multiple media outlets for the Music / Entertainment industry but took an interest in stock photography, and our travel images that were submitted to Getty / iStock is what allowed us acceptance as an iStock Photographer. However, we were in the middle of completing our profile there / ready to do the Tax Interview and then came along the ESP migration -

Seems, they migrating our account as we can login, but it throws an error account not setup yet.

A Challenge to get a clear response over there / other than you with a reply here. ;)

Have a super day!

Cheers,

Dave
