Correct, it has 317 downloads on DT. It also appears to be DT exclusive. I'm puzzled, not that it matters to me at all but still, my curiosity is working overtime...

Release from what? 50.000 people plus stadium plus football players, TV rights, advertising etc. I don't know

I make about the same at Big Stock as Dreamstime, so not lots, but I do receive regular sales. Ive continued to upload to it, and its a pretty simple interface to submit images. Ive never managed to get videos submitted, but my portfolio is primarily images anyway.
I am on 10 stock sites.
If I could do it all over again I would skip CanStock and BigStock, not worth the time and effort.
Thank you so much again for the input. I already made my decision I'm not going to bother with Bigstock. I may give Dreamstime another shot...

Just signed up with BS, does it worth the time and effort? What's your thoughts? I know they are at the bottom of the middle tier but some people say that sales are improving. What's your experience?

You did insult somebody. You insulted the entire female population of the world by insinuating that good or bad decisions are purely dictated by whether somebody is menstruating or not.
As for Dumbc... nobody is offended by the use of the word 'period', they're offended by the sexist comment that included the word period. If he was asking for advice on how to best create a set of stock images that could be used by buyers to represent somebody being on their period, then that would be a different matter entirely. And if people did take offence at that use of the word period, you'd be well within your rights to express your confusion and/or surprise at that offence.
As it stands, you're still entitled to express your confusion and/or surprise at the offence in question, but doing so just makes you seem like a bit of a dick.
Hypocrite There are different ways to ask someone to be more polite. And couple of people didn't choose the right way. The went straight to insult. Just like you did by calling me a dick. As i said I'm not going to carry on because obviously people are offended by the word period, but they can call someone a dick, an idiot, a sexist, arsehole and i don't even remember what else. That's cool. Anyway i said it before if you can't participate in this thread and you find the joke period offensive go f***k your self you big hypocrite. Over and out and i don't care what you're doing to answer because I'm not reading this thread again.

As a last resort, go down the editorial route.

Thanks a lot my friend. I've already uploaded them on shutterstock and they all got accepted. Not even as editorial.
On a side note i resubmitted them on Adobe and they past. So clearly whoever QCed them was on his /her period 
We spoke many times before by the way, but I'm not that active unfortunately.

Joke's are funny, you were just being insulting compounded by an insincere apology when you needed help. As soon as you got what you wanted you repeated the insult. You are right though, I should chill and not let arseholes get my back up.

I've been to Meteora multiple times and undestand what you are talking about but the thing is are there really buyers and in that quantities that need photos of Meteora, let alone all the individual Monasteries there? I think you are wasting too much time uploading that much photos with no potential return. What I'd do if I was close to it I'd try to capture the vast location in one shot, in different seasons and different times of day to get unique shots, something passing tourists can't do and be done with Meteora.
P.s. I don't have problems with period jokes, my girlfriend enforces them.

Finally someone with a proper reply. Thank you qunamax, appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately the place is too far away from me. I live in Kos in the winter and Corfu in the summer, so not easy for me to get there. Nevertheless I'll try to get there again. Thanks again for your feedback. P.s My wife hates it when i use the period joke. I use it when i want to annoy her.

From curtesy... Just hope some times people were as sensitive to other more important things in life than just a joke. But then again they don't see the hordes of war refuges washing out from the sea in Aegean every day like i do. THAT is a sensitive issue...

Obviously i apologise for the wrong term that i used and especially the women that had to read that (I'm merried by the way and i hate offending women) but I'm was seriously pissed off. So apologies again... Now about the comment Sammy the Cat made: it wasn't 300 hundred photos of rocks. It was around 100. If anyone of you been in Meteora you would know how vast it is and how many different monasteries there are there. So there wasn't a single identical photo there. All different views and different angles. I tried to keep it to minimum. There are accounts in Adobe and shutterstock that have hundreds of identical photos of a tree or a plate and forks, so in my eyes your argument that I'm stoopid is invalid. About the model release since you can't see a face in Adobe stock (it was my wife) you Don't need a model release and as i said Meteora doesn't require model release anywhere... Maybe for you it's another rock in Greece but for me it isn't. No more than Grand Canyon that there are 2.000.000 the same photos. But i mean, come on, property release from a rock? Anyway you right as i said couple of times about my stupid mistake but you wrong about the fact that it was just another shot of a rock or that some rocks require property releases. I stand my ground thinking that whoever QCed my photos had a bad day. And now i have to pay for that...

I uploaded almost 300 hundred photos,most of them from Meteora Greece.Almost all of them rejected cause of intellectual property refusal when i know for sure that Meteora doesn`t have photography restrictions and don`t require property release. And i`m 1,000,000% sure about that.Not only that but all other stock agencies accepted them no problem.I even had a photo of rocks rejected,no monastery or building...ROCKS!
Not to mention that many other photos rejected for similar image,when there are only two photos the same but one is vertical and the other horizontal.Plus many rejected for aesthetic or commercial appeal of image.On other agencies again accepted with out a problem.
So, yes the person that QC`ed my photos on Sunday 20/01/18 23:00 local Greek time was clearly on a bad day...

Cool portfolio you have there.You still photography is good( i think anyway ,i can`t do still photography to save my life ).
Like Alex said it will take some time for sales to pick up once you find out what sells and focus more there.

I have it only on Alamy exclusive. If I had it on shutterstock as well you think whoever bought it would look on shutterstock to get it cheaper?
As was said, nobody knows.
But from my own experience: I had big RF sales on Alamy with the same files being available on different microstock agencies (the biggest one $250 gross, so $125 my share).
And I also had several times zooms on Alamy followed on sales of the zoomed images on shutterstock / fotolia the same day or a day later - which is no proof, but might indicate that buyers look on Alamy and shop where they find the images cheaper.
Still, I put all my RF files both on Alamy and the micros.

Wow, I'm was out and didn't have internet. So many replies. Thanks all of you guys trying to put me at the right path. Don't forget that I'm a noob, in stock and photography, so take it easy on me guys... "I have looked at the image in closer detail and although it's a nice moment, I wouldn't classify this image anywhere as close to "premium", so in my opinion, there's no harm in putting it everywhere and RF. I have put it as a close up on this message, I trust that is OK. You didn't ask for a critique so I won't offer one " Thanks again Alex. As i said on my previous post i didn't think that this shot was "premium" nor is technically perfect. Is one of this moments that lighting changes, people move back and forward and you just take the shot. I didn't plan it. I only put it so i can learn from you guys the ins and outs of stock. Another question is that this image was RF, if i had it as RM you think the price would be the same or different, or it just dictates that with RF i can sell elsewhere if that makes sense. Ah and thanks for the tip about planes. P.s.: I don't know why i couldn't quote properly from my phone.

I made a big sale on Alamy today. Big for me anyway. The biggest so far. 45 euros.
How weird, we was talking with Alex about it the other day...
It's an editorial shot from the Carnival in Corfu. I wouldn't say is "premium" but hey, it's sold. Now the question is : I have it only on Alamy exclusive. If I had it on shutterstock as well you think whoever bought it would look on shutterstock to get it cheaper?

Strong point Steve. In the end of the day with my limited experience on stock photography i still believe that anything can sell (maybe I'm wrong) but at the same time you may have an image that you think is super premium and that image never sells.
