« on: December 22, 2012, 02:43 »
I've stopped submitting entirely.  Don't know when/if I might resume, because obviously something is going on at SS.  Maybe they've recently outsourced their reviewing to a new low bidder :-)   or they're experimenting with automated filtering in a careless way.   Whatever it is, it's nuts and I'm not going to participate.   This is still just a paying hobby for me and although I can use the money,  I don't need this level of aggravation.

I feel for you guys who rely on SS for income and are trying to figure out what to do.

I'll quit posting in this thread, to leave space for people to jump in with "You must be doing something wrong because my approval rate is 95%, please post examples..."

mine appear to be all through, but I hope not! not WM of this  (first) year, but in the bottom 3. i would have preferred to see growth each month as my port grows.

I have no new uploads at iStock since March and I still have 66 pictures not showing up at Thinkstock

so far PP until the 14th

I have no new uploads at iStock since April and I still have 475 pictures not showing up at Thinkstock either Photos

So far PP until the 15th

Their reviewers are very inconsistent to say the least. Under the guise of 'focus' and 'trademark' and others put off those photos that do not like

« on: December 14, 2012, 04:22 »
I have waited a year to give my thoughts on SS and leaving IS exclusivity. I would say for me it hasn't been worth it. I have lost around $100 a month. I make around a dollar a day at SS and many rejections so my full portfolio (including ONES THAT SELL at IS) are not included. Even worse for Dreamstime. Only managed one payout this year from them as it's a $100 threshold.

Even with IS having a terrible year it would have been better to stick with them but I suppose you have to take risks. My thoughts on SS are very very disappointing to say the least. This month one of the worst. Others will probably probably disagree.

Same experience here. IS in low hours is much better than this incredible (...put your favourite vulgar adjective here...)

Thank you for your kind words of support. Probably have to leave exclusivity. Always
had been the best place for me...

Sean, Gostwyk

Windows Washing has given me great joy but I fear that the subject has been exhausted. I have some photos of car cleaning that have worked reasonably well. Velvet Textures have not gone bad ... I guess the problem lies, after all, more to my lack of creativity that in the market situation. Thank you both for your suggestions :)

Luis

A really enlightening message, Luis. Probably end up leaving the exclusivity or may be not. Who knows... ;D

I counting the days to get this fortune in my pocket :D :D

I've not great expectations about a support response. If any of two things -the payment or the response has to be- I bid for the payment. In any case I think that i must be waited till the payment was in my paypal account before delete my portfolio. The impatience is not good adviser.

Thank you, Leaf :)

PD: Congrats for your red flame ;)
