I usually have several rejects of this type every week, but today I think I had the worst. Check for yourself: Rejected for: {[ Beautiful, Blond Hair, Blond Hair, Elegance, Enjoyment, lay down, Relaxation]} The girl is blond, I know her perfectly. Elegance for the dress, ok, bad idea...enjoyment (a book)...ok, bad idea...relaxation? reading a book in the park is not relaxation? Well...bad again, too "abstract" for them. Lay down... ? Beautiful???!?!? So, if a client is searching for beautiful woman reading, mi pic doesn't match. If looking for woman laying down grass...doesn't match, if the client needs a blonde...mi model doesn't match? This hurts more because I make about 100 pictures a week, and IS only lets me upload 15. Resubmitions are not an option for me

Hi all.
I have a group of images at Alamy set as licenced and Im thinking they could get good sales in micro. Could be any problem with the different kind of licensing? I didnt use the rights protected licence so teorically there are no problems with exclusivity.
What do you think about this? Thanks!

In my case shutter is being a surprise every day, since last week DLs increase each time I see them. Today has been my BDE with more than 30sales with a portfolio of 97 pictures. Im in the other agencies with the same photos, but the day I was accepted in Shutter (nov 23th) I had more sales than in the other microsites together in two months! I know my portfolio isnt the great thing, but it seems shutter customers like it, but the rest of the world seems to hate it Take a look if you want to my Shutterstock portfolio

How are going on your portrait sales on Alamy? Im interested in upload more of them, and I wonder if they are a really solid value on Alamy. Anyone knows which are the big seller files in this agency? Many thanks!

Ive been several weeks waiting (like many of you) for the review of my new submissions, and now I found that more than 50 images waiting are no longer in pending mode, but I cant find where they are. I think they have reject almost all of them (feels more cruelty than STX with me ), and I just want to be sure. Thankss for your help.

Thats really unfair, they have rejected a lot of footage for the same reason, and Ive seen many pictures published with the same subjects. They hate me

One of my lastest uploads is this one: http://www.123rf.com/photo_2019466.htmlIn 123 was accepted, but it was not in Bigstock for this reason: "Potential copyright / trademark / privacy issue with photo (could be: copyrighted art, visible logo, license plate number, etc) sorry..." There are hundreds of towers like that in the stock sites, why this is not valid like any other classic or ancient tower? What are they afraid of? How can I avoid this stupid rejections?

For me its, by far, the most discusting thing in the uploading process. I love sites like LO or Imagekind for not including them.
I know categories are necessary but...do you know any way of doing the process less painful?

I uploaded about 40 images, and at least a half of them have been published with different tittle and tags, and now they have about three times less keywords than in other stock places. Now I can add just one more keyword for image.
Its very kind to help us choosing tags for themselves, but I would like to choose keywords by myself like I do in any other place.

Nope, you're wrong. istockphoto demands exclusivity per photographer, not per photo, with a few exceptions like RM work, prints etc. It's all in their Exclusive Artist's Supply Agreement. [/quote] Now I understand it all. I was wrong with the exclusivity concept. Thanks all for your help

But I thought exclusivity contract was only for the work published in the exclusivity account, so I supposed there was not any conflict if I had another non-exclusive account with different work...exclusivity ties the work published as exclusive, not the photographer, isnt it? Sorry for my poor English

Hi there! Im just wondering if its allowed for the same person to have two accounts at the same time, one for pictures shared with the other stock sites, and the other one exclusive for istockphoto, with different email addresses but the same paypal account. Nothing more, thanks for the help
