Hello, I think this guy just read discounts page ( http://cushystock.com/en/discounts.html) at the cushy stock site and post the message. The main condition of this proposal - not any spam! So, I think this guy just want a discount. I see it looks like a spam... The main idea of the proposal to start a discussion, not spam at forums... eppic, Send me your log file for detect the problem, please. You can criticize the software or you can help me to make the software better...

In active mode, the FTP client opens a dynamic port, sends the FTP server the dynamic port number on which it is listening over the control stream and waits for a connection from the FTP server. When the FTP server initiates the data connection to the FTP client it binds the source port to port 20 on the FTP server.

Added portfolio import from 123RF and BigStockPhoto, unknown images importing from stock agency site when you import portfolio. Some bugs fixed. Hebrew translation added. Active FTP mode added.
"Drag image to catalog" bug fixed.

Sure, right now CS can only compare images with local copy using description etc. Good point in your other message about import watermarked absent images from stock.

If you need to import your portfolio you should have local copy of uploaded images. In the sequel you can erase all the uploaded images, also you needn't store images uploaded and keyworded by Cushy Stock.
i.e. you need stored JPEG files for import portfolio only.

Good to hear there is a new version  Though i'm not particulary interested in russian neither dutch (i'm wondering a little bit about that choice isn't spanish, french and german more important?)
I would be interested if there are also some bugs ironed out.
What bugs do you mean? Russian language is supported too.

FYI. Cushy Stock 1.8.5 supports localization (Russian and Dutch). Also you can add any translation and get a free key  .

I would like to know if any vector illustrators have tried it and how it works uploading thumbnails and eps files, it it really does that at all.
You can upload eps files and any vector graphics, converted jpeg preview and zip archives. You can convert eps files and make zip in the program.

Unfortunately some bugs hardly reproduced in the my environment  Some other bugs need to add new technologies support, such as Adobe XMP, etc.

a few questions if I may... sorry if they are answered somewhere on your site, I couldn't find them.
- what functionality is disabled in trial version vs full one? Or, if it's full-functional, what differences are there?
- is it Java-based? If not any specific environment requirements?
- Where do usernames/passwords get stored? This is safety-angled question, and as you no doubt understand quite of significance.
1. You can upload only 1 file per program run in the trial version 2. Cushy Stock is native Windows application 3. By default, logins and passwords are stored in the database of the program. Also you may choose to use some security options and don't save passwords. In this case you will have to enter the password every time before upload as it won't be stored anywhere.
