General Stock Discussion / Nearly 1,000 fake accounts selling stolen photos discovered.

Good morning, I wanted to share with you a document showing almost 1,000 fake shutterstock accounts where stolen photos and images are resold.
The problem unfortunately does not only concern Shutterstock but also other sites, which is why I preferred to post in the general forum.
Currently, an Italian photographer named Antonio Gravante is conducting a tough search for the fake accounts and has managed to shut down many dozens of them by contacting Shutterstock directly. Unfortunately, the process is long and complicated.
He seems to have much better luck with Adobe, which is much less complicated and more responsive.
As you can see in the document (continuously updated), the links in red are those currently closed, while those in blue are still active.
I recommend that you check the presence of your images and in case report the problem further to Shutterstock.
The reality is that many thousands of stolen images are regularly sold, depriving the real authors of their earnings.

Adobe Stock / Intellectual Property Rejection

I recently uploaded several images of buildings in the city of Tokyo and I received several rejections for intellectual property. I don't understand if the images should be sent as editorials because in this specific case I had both the Tokyo Tower and the Tokyo International Forum as my subject. Both subjects are present in the Adobestock database with hundreds of images, both commercially and editorially licensed. Why can't I send images with subjects already for sale on Adobestock?

Warning, SS contributor "axeeali47" is selling some of my images after slightly editing them, I guess he stole other images from other authors. Already reported to SS awaiting their response.

Ecco un discorso piuttosto interessante, quanto pagate un modello per delle foto di microstock?
Utilizzate delle tariffe orarie, TFCD ( prestazione di posa in cambio delle proprie foto/cd/stampe ma senza compenso in denaro ) o altro?
Secondo voi una tariffa oraria di 15€ per un modello senza alcuna esperienza è appropriata?

Panthermedia could be a very nice site if time review is accettable...
I can't belive that it needs some weeks to review my submissions.
I really like PM... ok, I sell few picture per month but the good rate of the commissions put PM in front of Bigstock, Crestock, 123RF, Canstock, SV (rip).

iStockPhoto.com / Why they made uploading so hard?

I'm really getting tired to upload images on IS...not because they refuse 50% of my photos

...but because the procedure is too long and unfriendly!
So, this morning I uploaded another image...title, description, category, and keywords...push "Proceed" and...OMG error!
I put number in the title...i forgot about it's my mistake but sometime happened.
What make me angry is the attitude of the site...title, description, category, keywords, all disappear!
Why I can't just modify the title?
Why I've to repeat all the work? It can make you smile...it's just one image after all...but we also the same situation after IS reject an image and make possible to resubmit it.
Is it a software problem or just they want make us thinking what we are doing before upload?
Or just make us give up ...
I'm not going to give up IS but hope to see a new system as soon as possible.
In my opinion this procedure is the real weak point of IS, is good to be strict to keep high the quality but no reason to complicate the ( already boring ) procedure.
What's your opinions people?
