Dear photographers,

PantherMedia proudly presents the new photo competition "My Pet and Me". It begins Sunday, 1st of September and ends Tuesday, 15th of October.

In cooperation with the Industrial Association of Pet Care Producers (IVH), we are looking for authentic, non-commercial and natural images that symbolize the emotional relationship between people and their pets.

The photo competition is divided into 5 categories, "people and...
- Cats
- Dogs
- Small animals
- Ornamental birds
- Ornamental fish

In each category you can win the following prizes:
- 1st prize: 250 Euro
- 2nd prize: 150 Euro
- 3rd prize: 75 Euro
and additionally one licence for all winning images in all categories plus extra licences for really good images at 75,00 Euro net per image.

Important: Please make sure you upload the images with the "rightsmanaged" option in your policy management.

PantherMedia has been criticized sometimes in the past weeks that the approval time for newly uploaded images was too long. The main reason for this backlog had been the fact that many, many more contributors have uploaded many, many more images, and continue to do so, thanks also to our cooperation with ProStockMaster. We tried to be as responsive about this as possible.

We listened to your wishes and suggestions and are happy to announce that with the beginning of May:

PantherMedia expands its Picture Editing Department

We are working on approving your images - with all thoroughness - as fast and efficient as possible. The backlog should belong to the past very soon.
