It looks to me that they have their own unique photos. And it seems that there is only one talented photographer behind it (Briena). I wonder if she does or did stock photos on the side.

The photos are beautiful.

I'm one of the lucky photographers who made it to the final round of the video contest at Shutterstock.

Panthermedia.net / Contribution Panel confusion

I notice that PantherMedia finally put descent watermark on their images for sale. I decided to upload more of my best sellers on their site.

I have only 40 active images in the Contribution Panel but when I browse their site to see my photos, I see many that I didn't submit to them (and are not in the Contribution Panel). When I view my portfolio from the buyers side, I see 368 photos. In the contribution portal, 40.

Are they affiliated with another stockphoto agency?

General Stock Discussion / Tax question - cash in next year

Hi,
Not that I am pessimistic but I have I feeling that I am going to make more money in 2012 than 2013 (stock photos are a small portion of my income). So I was thinking to cash in my stock photos income in January 2013 for IS, DT and FT.
Does it make sense or the agencies will declare my income in 2012 anyways?

Adobe Stock / watermark

I know it's been an issue for years but I'm really disappointed with Fotolia's watermark. They are losing sales and I think they don't realize that some photographers won't submit particular images because they are not protected.

I submitted this photo http://us.fotolia.com/id/23774166 and I'm seriously thinking about taking it out. There are zero watermark on this one.
