What is a good free IPTC software? I am currently using Irfanview but it is for non-Mac users. So just wondering what the rest of the people are using if I want to switch, which would be a better one to switch to. Any reasons for using the particular software for your IPTC? Pls tell me the good, the bad and the ugly. Thanks!

I finally took the plunge and bought a canon DSLR 450D with the money I made from stock photography... It's time to take some photos....kekeke Was deciding between the new 500D or the old 450D. 450D just won the TIPA award in Dec 2008 and after reading many reviews about these two cameras and the comparison etc. I finally decided 450D. Mainly because it seems that "noise" issue could potentially be higher in 500D and the HD video does not seem to sit well with many people...oh well only time will tell.

Hi got a question.
Anyone knows if there is a free software that supports CMYK colour and tif?
I have the following:- 1) Irfanview - it does not seem to support CMYK 2) Inkscape - it cannot save as tif 3) Arcsoft - it is RBG and so does not meet CMYK
Pls advise. Thanks!

Hmm...been in microstock for a little while and have seen the rise and fall of some stock sites eg Lucky Oliver, Albumo etc etc I was wondering if it is time to take stock and only keep to those stock accounts that are worth putting time and effort into? We have all joined the band wagon and upload to new stock accounts that have came up. I was just wondering what is everybody's take on the stock sites to keep and drop?

I think I heard someone mention Zazzle in one of the threads. Curious so went to take a look. Looks like a thriving website. Would like to ask if anyone has experience with it as it is for selling custom tshirts, posters, mugs, cards etc. Sounds interesting but only get 10% commission it seems. Can someone with experience at Zazzle give feedback? Thanks! http://www.zazzle.com/mk/welcome/home

How much does it cost to create a forum? I am trying to look for a free or low cost forum or website like "My Family" for a group of people I know to come together to chat and keep each other updated, any one has any idea?

ok i am still undecided on this as once you start it i think there is no going back and i dont want to regret on a system that i cant go out from after organising. So i am assessing my options before i take the plunge. (Freeware....me not spending a cent on software as they just get over-ride by new ones all the time. me only buy microsoft for word/powerpoint etc).
Heard of these two freewares for keywording? Used them before? Which is better? 1) Pixvue 2) irfanview 3) XnView
