Alamy.com / Sales at Alamy RF license

Hi , i upload to Alamy for 3 months i think... After 15 days my first upload of 4 RM files i got one sale of $62 . I have a happy day

Now, after more than 2 months i have 80 files RF and 15 RM and no sales...no sales at all in files i have been sale on micro´s . My question is , how is your experience with RF sales at Alamy ?

General Stock Discussion / Subscription plans...were is the dark side?

Well , now i have my site online and i´m facing one problem to set subs plans.....Seeing another sites like SS they sell images for $0,26 and pay $0,25...impossible for me ! I think maybe, just maybe, people never download the 25 a day and this is a make a difference. Now seeing IS partnership to TS.

Thinkstock sell images in one year plan at $0,22 . BUT , in partner program according to IS we receive $0,28 commission .... Well, or my math is wrong or agreements are changed everytime we sold an image there or there is something dark here ?

Now, even there is a good explanation for that and i believe in it, these prices have taxes included ??

My curiosity is not to set my prices, i can do my own math, is only to understand this insanity.....If prices just have taxes included , they pay more than receive....so ...maybe they don´t pay all sales....

or money rise from the ground?

PS: I already receive $0,08 commission in a IS sale so......i believe in everything! But Partner program granted $0,28 and TS sell for less.

New Sites - General / Newlightagency

Hi people. I was startint my new new site after trying make it from a blog and i think i can make an investment and do something better so i´m made the Newlight Agency. I think , if i will do all this work for me , why not do it for everyone and that is the base of this topic. I only got the site online yesterday and is missing many things (is in tests yet ) so i´m asking if there is someone here that can help me with my project .

I want to start this inside the community and listening all your opinions and experience. I need to test the functions of site and set prices, think about servers (dedicated servers) , licenses, and all of that. I want to ask you to register as gold member and upload 10 images . Please , don´t upload originals, upload files with 2000px maximum with your watermark. Is just for testing. Give me your opinion to get this better and if you want contribute after the betta period i will be very grateful .

I am starting from 0,00 , server don´t have many space (50gb only) , all this have to be moved into a dedicated server after but is a big investment. I will consider this after read your opinion , put the site good in good conditions, and have some bases to start.

Please , can you lost 10min of your time to help me?

If you submit as a bach you can put the iptc to all that bach in a single way. If not you must leave it in blank. The ipct for each image will appear (i hope that) . The is being programing to:

- Contributor can set their own prices
-contributor can choose products and prints to sale ( not yet) , like t-shirts and more
-Contributor can made their own orders and ship directely to customer
-contributor can choose the image files and prices for stock
-Can set your own albuns (public or not), download your files to ( work like a storage service)

Hi all. Recently i have one external hard drive lost. I am very careful with my files and i have all storage in another disk but i lost some of my daughter movies that i´m able to restore , so is not a big deal.

I am looking for a web storage service (affordable) where i can put all my files and port, about 2TB, and i beat the wall against prices about $200 month for 1TB , for me is very, very expensive, but i think that one storage place in web where i never lost anything is very useful and highly demand to my work.

I found a place where i can set my own service and company of web storage, but is expensive just for me to use, so...two questions?

- Do you known about some really good place and affordable to keep our files safe?
- If i can get a service that provide this at an affordable price (ex. Like $120/year for 1 TB) would you consider to store files there? Just to do a little marketing inspection !!
