iStockPhoto.com / Deactivating an image
« on: May 08, 2012, 11:57 »
I've been contacted by an airline who wish to purchase the rights to one of my images for 12 months, this image is on istock, so can I deactivate an image then reactivate it after 12 months are up, or does it have to go through the approval process again?

iStockPhoto.com / Reporting inaccurate kewords

Does anyone else do this, I sometimes report them if I notice something really out of order, however I think the system has bigged down, it appears to take months now for the changes to be reviewed. I just wonder if it's worth the effort.

General Stock Discussion / Generic Model Release
« on: June 13, 2007, 12:11 »
I have done a search but can't find what I'm after, does anyone have a release that works on every site, so far I use a couple of different ones and it's getting annoying. If anyone has one would you mind sending it to me.

Thanks

After being on the site for nearly 18 months and with a very small portfolio, they reject all my stuff I have finally sold 2 images. It's probably going to take another 3 years to reach payout.

Wow just had an email from a stock site taking me to task over a comment I made here, they have invited me to remove my portfolio, scary stuff. Has anyone else had this experience?

General Stock Discussion / Could you do this?

I now own all the negitives (and digital files) for the photos of my wedding, there are some great shots which would make excellent stock, I'm just wondering if I can legally upload them as I didn't take them. Anyone have any ideas about this.
