Hi guys... I know I started playing in Microstock as bit of a social experiment and for the most part, I enjoy it. Really do get some great laughs and try hard not to take it too seriously ( the rejections that is!) ... but this one has me stumped.
I'm OK with the artifacting rejections with are terribly inconsistent, but in the middle of a submission I got a few images rejected for ... and I quote
" We regret to inform you that we cannot accept your submission, entitled Racing_03 (
http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/4611251/2/istockphoto_4611251_racing_03.jpg) for addition to the iStockphoto library for the following reasons:
Please refrain from personal naming or number systems when titling your file. This affects the quality of search results and should be removed for future uploads.
Example 'A Five Pencils' or '1 Five Red Pencils'
Example 'A1, A, AAA, 1A, etc.'
If you require further explanation regarding this rejection, please forward this message and your questions to Client Relations (
[email protected])"
Now every image I have online is numbered... simple as that. Most are part of a bigger submissions and to date (including today!), ISP has a never had an issue.
Just for fun... I thought I'd give you all something else to worry about when submitting.
Good luck I say.
Cheers, JC
