Come on Istock sort the backlog out for goodness sake.More inspectors or limit the amount of editorial content we can upload for inspection.
EG.i was in Plymouth this week and shot a small series about the famous Falmouth yacht race.What's the point of uploading the presentation stand/map/background of the 2011 event if it takes a month for the files to become available for sale.The event will be finished !

Reaching out to it's contributor base or perhaps more concerned with how buyers are viewing the current site.Hope the information collected is acted upon in due course and not some useless propaganda move.

I joined this company in 2007,never sent any images (10) and posted my first comment on the forum last week (alistair666).I must say i'm slightly taken aback with the lack of fun on the forum.Has someone got a humour block on this forum??

Sorry for being so blunt but what ** happened...
When i joined Istock in 2007 the forum was a hive of activity.It was bustling with new threads and lots of comments posted by the community of artists and staff.
What's caused its demise?

Can someone enlighten me on the reason that Istockphoto introduced this extra price tier.
Cock Up 1- "We are sorry your file did not make it into our sexy Vetta collection but we hope it screws some more money out of the buyers by entering the Exclusive + collection"
Cock Up 2 - "We have decided that you the talented artist are best at managing your own portfolios and can nominate a % quota of your portfolio to add to this new collection "
Cock Up 3- "Non exclusives are now allowed to screw more money from the buyers by nominating files for the exclusive +
collection "
Just scrap the collection.It stinks !!!!

To many contributors only viewed the Redeemable Credits from there own perspective/sales/portfolios.
When they try to see the bigger picture they wrongly assumed it was greed by Istockphoto that fueled the change.
The money the company now saves, with this new payment method,will be used to bring longevity to the company which in turn serves all our purposes.

Seems like the connector,the system by which our nominated files are migrated from Istock to the Partner Program, is now working....
I can now see another 40 of my images for sale on the PP sites.That's 1010.Still another 30 waiting and my London Lypse content will be added in due course.

http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk So i'm walking along Brighton beach,during the Istockphoto London Lypse, minding my own biscuits when i get chatting to a guy.He works for Amateur Photographer magazine.We get chatting about microstock/Istock and he asks me if i would be the subject for an article.I gave Mr Richard Sibley my business card and thought nothing more about the conversation. A couple of weeks ago he contacted me and asked a few questions.The upshot was today he sent a PDF file with a two page spread that's been published in this weeks magazine.Richard very kindly bought three images from my portfolio to accompany the article.I look forward to buying the magazine tommorow. I'm well chuffed

I have the all in one Dell photo 924.Basic but has been doing a fine job for a couple of years.Ink was expensive when bought from Dell but now the cartridges are copied and sold cheaper.
Anyhow i upgraded my PC,running windows 7, awhile back and had alot of trouble getting my printer in sync.A bit of research and i'm now sorted.I needed the 64 bit driver used on the Vista system.Once i uploaded that to my PC the printer is now working fine.
Anyone else had compatablility trouble with there printers .

Anyone had problems shooting in new delhi.I'm hoping to be staying for 5 days in October/november.I will be shooting the tourist hot spots but also would like to shoot some editorial of the poor which begs the question,no pun intended,will i incur any problems ...
