Does anyone know if you can have some clips as exclusive on Pond5 or does it have to be your whole portfolio? And does an exclusive video get viewed more? Shutterstock can go whistle for my videos.

Has anyone changed how much the iStock minimum is? I am signing off working and for tax reasons I wont be allowed to get paid by iStock for the next few months. So either increase the minimum or have payment delayed. Thanks! Suzie

Is there a way of changing the prices of all of my files on pond5, in one go rather than having to do each one individually? TIA S

When ordering keywords, in Fotolia you could select a few and move to the top. Is there anyway to do this in Adobe? It is a small detail but on several files - anything to save time! Suzie

I just titled and keyworded a load of files on the adobe site yesterday and this morning they are all blank (back with the keyword suggestions from adobe).
Is there any way to save the keywording, title, etc? thanks Suzie

I am self-employed as a signwriter but have been doing vector and animation stock for extra cash for a few years.
Would so love to do stock full-time but for now it is just a pipe dream that seems to be getting less of a possibility.
How many of you are making a living out of it? I know depends on living costs, but I am just curious if many actually do. For me, for now, it's a nice extra small income and good to have some creative freedom (and no clients to deal with!). :)suz

Hi, I just got an email saying footage firm Inc have submitted a 1042-s form, from a company called 1099online. I have no idea what it is. Is it a scam email? They appear to have all my details
I don't live in the US. Thank, suz
Edit: I see it's just the tax form for foreigners, so maybe all ok then!

Hi,
I've always used the mesh or blend tool to make gradients and shadows. I tried submitting an EPS recently with gradients using the new free form tool and it got rejected. I seem to remember if you don't alter the shape after applying a gradient it should be accepted.
Has anyone got any tips on this? It would just make life a bit quicker.
Drop shadows are still not accepted I imagine?
Have tried looking in Shutterstock but there are no guide lines about it. I think Fotolia usually accepted them. Suz

Hi, I upload vectors to istock via ESP. Previously I used Deepmeta but ESP seems less hassle with keywording. Was wondering if there are more benefits to using Deepmeta? Thanks

Hi, Does anyone have any update on which codec (in after effects) can be used across all agencies? I was using photojpeg but now that isn't an option. Or any recommendations for maybe two codecs (more time consuming but better than nothing) which are accepted by most agencies? I hear H264 isn't good for quality. I'm using a PC so Prores isn't available. TIA Suz

I don't suppose anyone knows how to change my portfolio earnings from GBP to EUROS? I think my Fotolia page is in Euros already. TIA Suz

Hi! In after effects I usually have a white background for the composition, (but not as a layer). Would it be better to render it with an alpha channel? Is this more useful to a buyer? I'm not totally sure about alpha channel. I presume this means the buyer has a transparent background? If so do I mention it in the title? Thanks is advance! Suzie

Well I did get told it was difficult to get new stuff seen.
Am I flogging a dead horse?
Have about 100 animation videos on Pond5, for a few months.
Only 2 files have been viewed!
I'm not under any illusion that my videos are amazing but there are some sold on fotolia and shutterstock.
And each has at least a few views on Fotalia.
Do they eventually get viewed or is there really no hope for new content?

Just a reminder! I've just spent far too much money on recovering a load of files, which, annoyingly, should have been used to buy more storage to back up. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Hi, Whenever I try and upload to videoblocks with the temporary login, it never connects.
Does anyone else have this problem or am I just doing something wrong?
I fill out the "Host, Username, password and Port" that videoblocks gives me and press Quick connect but it wont connect.
Thanks s:)

New to Pond5, so I have no idea how sale will go but just had Pond5 videos reviewed in the same day.
Found it a really easy site to upload and submit to. I had a couple not accepted but the review was helpful and specific.
Just a quick question, does anyone put something in the description box? If I leave it blank is that lessening the chance of being found or is the title more important?
thanks suz

Hi there! Is there any use for simple motion graphics AE templates? Would submitting an AE template be a kind of equivalent to submitting a vector instead of just a jpeg? Do designers maybe use a simple motion graphic in a bigger project? It might be a bit time consuming preparing a template but if it opens more sales perhaps worth it. thanks suz

How many peeps have got clients through their stock portfolios?
I like the artistic freedom microstock brings but until I win the lottery, like most I need to pay bills:) So was wondering if it it did lead to the chance of paying clients for anyone?

Hi, Would anyone be able to give me a rough idea of pricing motion graphics videos in comparison to say HD or 4k? Would they more or less expensive? I've looked at some on pond5 but there seems to be such a variation even with similar quality videos. Thanks

Is anyone else's contributor page blocked? Better for me - I can't check every half an hour to see how many downloads I've had . But would be good to know if shutterstock is down s
