Can anyone kindly post some book page templates? I'm working on a children's book of my own and I'm going to need them soon. So if anyone has a few free ones they like to share, I would be very grateful. Thanks!

Just got an email from PayPal stating the latest policy changes. Well looks like they're going to start charging for inactive accounts starting some time in November as one of their latest policies. For us Canadians its going to be around 20 dollars. Not happy! Every bit I work hard for and it all counts. I don't need some money hungry dirty monkey paws stealing my money. Anyways anger and frustration aside , do you know if I could just log in now and again and that would solve that issue or do I have to take some other possible drastic action? Thank you for any reply.

Can anyone recommend a free filter plugin for Photoshop and for Illustrator to give my art an 8 bit look to it? I'm sure I could make this FX with out one but I would like to not spend so much time on it. Thanks!

Only recently heard about Behance and decided to do a bit of research on the site. Apparently its been around for awhile but I need some more info.
What are your over all thoughts on the site?
I have heard that the account is free, but is this indefinite or for a limited time? Also are there restriction of the type of imagery? Say only digital or is all excepted even illustrations made with traditional mediums? As for customization, can I have my own layout with categories besides just project categories? Is this a stand alone portfolio or is this attached to a job board?
Any or all questions answered would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much. 😊👍

Here's a question that's been on my mind lately. Have you noticed declining sales on illustrations at your favorite MS sites? I see lots of photos being sold and uploaded but not really illustration images.
So what's your thoughts?

I worked on a few new vector images relating to the barber shop industry and I was wondering if the word Barbersal would be flagged as TM or copyright if I placed it in as a key word? Please note it has already passed inspection at AS. Keywords and all.

I'm a little curious about this tee shirt place called Teeporium. Basically you provide your graphic and if your Canadian you get excepted, they sell your work and supposedly you get some cash. Has any one tried this place or has any one tried these other tee shirt places for your designs? Are they any good in terms of payment, do they treat you right? Is it worth it?

Yup I got one of these scams in the mail geared towards illustrators and book illustrators. They ask you to pay a fee in order to show case your work in a book. A legit company would only ask if its alright for a few of your high quality images to be featured in a book. The company is called Crooks Press Publishing of all things. Sample of email. My name is Gloria Luca, I am the artist manager for Crooks Press Publishing. I recently discovered your work via http://www.creativeshake.com which I think is fantastic!
I am reaching out to you as I wanted to invite you to be a part of our Drawn Volume.2 | Leaders In Contemporary Illustration book series. Crooks Creative's Drawn V olume.2 will be an inspirational exploration into the work, lives and creative practices from established industry practitioners to some of the hottest emerging talents from today's illustration and design scene from around the globe.
You can learn more about Drawn Volume.2 here: http://www.crookspress.com/drawnvolume2 A few things to note about our books and services:
1. We distribute our books to hundreds of creative professional practices and businesses throughout the art and design industry in the hope of creating a commercial or mutually beneficial collaborative opportunity.
2. Our beautifully designed 200+ page books will be will also be available worldwide via online book retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble Powell's Books, BAM and more.
3. There is a fee to participate in the publication of $350.00 USD. This fee includes a copy of the printed and book shipped to you anywhere worldwide and a copy of the digital e-book. The fee also includes an artist profile page on our website that will be launched to coincide with the launch of the Drawn publication.
4. You are allocated one double page spread from the book and you can submit a maximum of 3 works to be published.
5. Drawn is scheduled to go to print in February of 2018. Just though I give any one in a similar situation a heads up. Thanks.

Locked out of my Twitter account. Very frustrated. Been waiting for over a week to resolved this since I don't have or use a cell phone. Still waiting for the techies to get back to me. Yeah I go there for some entertainment est but I also use it to advertise my latest various offerings of artwork. I wish there was some alternatives to using a cell number to get a simple unlock code. Gurr. Sigh.......... So if any one knows of anything like an alternative to the use of a cell phone, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
