Hello!
Maybe this is a dumb question but.. here it goes!
I find some apps on iTunes that use some vector art that I have on stock sites. My question is if this is allow?
Can somebody get a vector from a stock site and use it on a app or game?

I get a email were istock said "We're sorry, but we did not find this file suitable as stock." and send me a link where i can find what istock Need and dont Need http://www.istockphoto.com/illustrator_7.0_neededfiles.php. After reading the articule i i dont see my illustration represented on the "Dont need" part. What can i do? The illustration is this:  Is this some error or istock dont need my illustration but forgot to said in that articule that they dont need superheros also? Im also place this message at istock forum but no one said noting...

I need some advice. I upload some vector the other day and to my surprise today i find that the one you find bellow was rejected. This vector is also in other site no one rejected the vector. I now that rejections are part of the game and we must live with it. But the problem is that i dont agree with the reason. If Dreamstime said that they dont like the vector or they dont because they dont like dragons...i can live with that! But the reason is: "Poor execution, please pay more attention to detail. The technical execution of this collage needs improvement in order to best serve the concept of the image. For illustrations, please check for: poorly traced images, too simplistic, faceted curves, aliased lines, distorted pixels on lines as well as on various textures and images used within the illustration, moiree due to downsampling."Please see the image below and give you opinion.

Hello every one. For some days that i have been thinking how he do this. MISHA, i think that every one here now o I'm talking about. Have some images with flames. I need some advice. I receive a email on istock that you can read below. What did you think?
"I would like to buy the above illustration for branding purposes. Istock Photo says I must negotiate with you directly. I am not a large company and have a limited budget but if you have a reasonable price that I can afford I would like to purchase this for branding."

I need to now if i can use photos from NASA of the Earth (the globe) in stock!
I see a lot of stock photos with the globe in a hand or similar, and i like to now if that photo (the globe) came from NASA or is photoshop created.

Is SS feature "Red Carpet" still on? And what is opinion of the commercial value of editorial photos of the new Madonna concert? I have tickets for this concert and i think that if i can enter the concert with my camera i can take some pictures to pay for the tickets

Im extremely mad with this site "crestock"! I now that all sites reject and i now that no one like to see is work rejected but is a part of this game! What make me mad is the fact that this last rejections only occurs in crestock! I upload a batch of 12 images for all the big 6 and they all are approved (istock include that i consider that is the more difficult to pass). If this 6 think that they are good enough why did crestock don accept any? And what make me ever hungry is that is the site were we received only 0,25$ (why did i even upload there if they pay so bad?  ??) But crestock rejected all for contrast and focus!! I also nows that my photos are not the best and i have a lot to learn but... Dam im hungry! Because im stupid enough to upload there!!!!

I got one email from someone that buy one of my images in istock. He add a canteen factory and want this image to put in is site, but he want to change the canteen by one that he manufacture in photoshop. The issue is that istock dont allow that he do that on the image he bought. So he email me and ask if i sell the image and a written authorization directly to him. What did you do, if was you in my place and sell it for how much? the image is this one

I found this site that said this " Just copy the codes provided inside the textarea box then place them wherever you want it to appear. You can use these images in any social network and blogs as well, such as myspace, friendster, hi5, vampirefreaks, livejournal, etc.." Wit several sotck images! Is this legal?? I have a rejection here that is very weird. Let me explain, i made one illustration of some easter eggs and inside each egg is a letter that all together make the word EASTER. The text is not text, is a shape and is deform to give the impression that is in the egg. This vector was rejected and they ask me to take off the text and re-upload. But if i take off the text the all mining of the illustration is lost. I now that the problem is the eventual copyright of the font, but this is not a font and is deform. Do you upload without the text?? Image is this

You guys make and sell HDR images? If so you sell this type of image in every site or just in the ones that pay more?
I just upload 2 images that i made and in SS they are selling very well. They only are on line for 24 hours and already have 12 downloads! (not bad for this time of year)

I have a lot of pictures pending in stockxpert. Today they make one month and i decide to celebrate the event by post in the forum that my pending pictures have already a month. For my surprise almost my pictures have be review and rejected one hour later.
All this photos was accepted in IS, SS, DT i know that avery agency is different but the reason that stockexpert give is:
"Rejected - [ Thanks but we have enough images like this already. ]"
The funny is that a big part of this images are from typical Portuguese's landscapes and boats that dont exist in any other part of the world, and after a quick look around in stockxpert i just can find only 2 or 3 photos from this kind of subject. We can find hundreds of photos of flower and some other stuff and a company have 2 or 3 photos from something that you only can find in this part of the world is to much?

I confess that i dont now very much from photographic equipment. Im relativity new in this area. I want to buy a new camera and the other day i was looking around at pixmania.com and compare 2 cameras, the canon 400D and the Canon 40D.
To me they are much equal one to another, but this is just to me. I now that the 40D is a best machine but can anyone please tell me why i must spend 2 the money from the 400D in the 40D.

For the past days i have 90% of my submissions to Albumo rejected. They say that is not stock work.
Part of me is happy because is a sign that they are star to prepare to going to the market, But another part of me is very hungry because the work that they are rejected are accepted ate DT IS SS FT SX. I think all this other sites are more capable to say if this is stock or not, after all they are in business along time comparing with albumo.
What is your opinion? Did you guys have similar rejections this days at albumo?

For some time that i notice that istock is more difficult (at least for photos) but im not a professional photograph and my machine is not the beast and i lear to accept all the rejections. But im a designer and i have some vector in istock and no problem until the last month! My accepted ration on vector is almost 100%. This month i have already 2 from 2 vectors that i upload rejected were the reason for the rejection is: We're sorry, but we feel that the details in your outlines could be sharper/cleaner.. Can you explain what this mean? What is your opinion? I think that in illustration, is very subjective, because is not a real thing but is what i imagine!
