General - Stock Video / MOV or MP4 files?

Since i have the Pentax K-3 III I'am uploading video's again

Because the camera produces .mov files, I upload alsso .mov files.
In my video edit software (for now the simple free OpenShot editor) it is easy to convert it to .mp4.

If I take search the difference are

My guess is that .mp4 files will generate more sales.

Which file format do you use for uploading video?
And wich one is the best (for sales)?

Software / How to fetch sales data from contributer account

For a hobby project i would like to create a application that fetch sales data automaticlly from stock sites.

But i have no idea how.

For example if i look in the Shutterstock api, there are no endpoints to get sales data from an contributer account
Many sites have an CSV/Excel export, but how can you download these files automaticlly?

Has anyone an idea?

Software / FTPS upload to Shutterstock fron Java

I'am a developer and writing my own upload tool.

If i upload a image, the upload seams succesful, the server gives back: 226 Transfer complete (and the storeFile() method true)

But the image is not appears in the submit content page.

Has anyone an idea how i can upload an image to Shutterstock, that will be appears in the submit page?

General Stock Discussion / Paypal currency rate, from Dollar to Euro

This time of the year, is is time for my annual payout.
I use Paypal for it

If Paypal convert Dollar into Euro, they use a currency rate of 0,81...
But the Google currency converter use a rate of 0,85, so you will pay to Paypal 0,04% costs
And i dont like that

Is there a way to avoid those costs?

It is interessting to see the total earnings for an image
If i make a date selection of 5 years, the message appears that you can select only 13 months.
That was not the case before

Is there a another way to see the total earings per imagee?

Adobe Stock / No sales in August

Since the SS earnings structure change, there is a drop in my AS sales

Used to have 1 to 4 sales a week

But in August not a single sale!

Is it the vacation period, Corona or is there to much compatition (since the SS structure change)?

How are your August sales on AS?

I haven't done much with video yet. But i would like to explore it.

I am looking for software for basic video editing.
At this moment i have a video, with an brand name that must be removed for uploading te stock sites
But i have no experience in video editing

At this moment, i don't want to spend much money on it.
Wich (free or cheap) software can i use to remove brand names in video's?
