HI I just saw your post. One of the things I do in my job is rebranding and websites. I think your site looks good but I wouldn revisit the fonts as I am not sure it works with the overall design of the site. Perhaps try a more contemporary one and I notice there are different fonts on different pages.

My rank is 5522 so I am not doing so well at the moment. I don't have many images on there but I am hoping to get more on which may help my ranking.

Glad i'm not the only one. Just got some more photos rejected by Fotalia saying this is not the type of thing we want when they approved an image very similar yesterday!
oh well. I think I will just send a few at a time and hope I get different reviewers who take pity on me!

Crazy isn't it! You basically take a chance with who gets your image to approve!

I accidently resubmitted an image that had already been submitted and rejected - I only noticed as I was going through rejected images - anyway I noticed that the first time it was rejected - comment - a little blurriness (which I couldnt find) and this time it went through - no problem.
Has anyone had this happen and is it perhaps that different checkers and approvers have different niggles and standards perhaps?

I have found Fotalia has picked up for me this month - most of the pics that have sold are those of vacation spots so perhaps everyone is needing summer images right now - who knows - but it has definately been better.

I find Fotalia rejects probably 30% of my images but I have had quite few large downloads from them lately so I persist. Bigstock is best for me and DT have been bad in the past but are starting to accept a lot more of my images.

I hads my second rejection from istock and intend not to apply anymore until I have a more varied stock library.
I found that they responded very quickly both times to my rejections.

Thanks that explains it - so I guess they are pushing people to be exclusive and therefore i don't get paid as much - but i guess I should be happy I have finally sold some Thanks for your help

Hi can someone help me understand the Fotalia credits and what I actually get per image?
in the last week I have had 4 downloads - 1 was for a large image = 3 credits and the others were for 1 credit each. It shows that 1 credit = 57p but where my credits in my account are listed it reads 1.98 - Is this in pounds? or is this in credits? is this after Fotalia have taken their cut and what I am left with?
I havent been on there long so don't quite understand the credit system - Bigstock is a bit more straightforward.
thanks

HI
I am listed on a few stock sites and was considering joining istock - i got as far as them asking for a copy of my passport! Does anyone find that dodgy? or am I just being overly paranoid that my identity might get into the wrong hands??
