Good idea to test this leaf. I can see why you see the need to do something.

I'm very much in line with Racephoto on this one. I think I'd add Isle of Arran alongside Talisker. Glenmorangie is a good introduction to malts.
The list of single malts on that awards website is pretty impressive. I haven't tried any of the Campbelltown malts (that's a gap that needs filling) but the (probably cheaper) versions of the Islay, Island and Speyside malts that I've glugged have all been spectacular. I really don't see how you can judge one against the other, though.

I've never met any whisky (with or without an "E") from outside the British Isles that was worth drinking. For cheap stuff that slides down easily both VAT69 and Jamieson sit well on my palate.

Right you are!  have you tasted this really burnt Lagavolin?  ( did I spell that right)? supposed to be really potent stuff.

burnt! Lagavulin is in my opinion superb.

I can see your point Dan but your decision would be a loss to the site. Think about it for a few days.

Just wondering how your friend will know if a sale has been made. Will your partner have permanent access to your account?

If you can't understand rejections, then stop looking at them. Start looking at sales. What images of yours are selling? Why are they selling? Can you make more that will sell using these same themes/techniques/subjects?

Here's a starting point.

You've got an isolated shot of ants that sells well - that's great. Why aren't you doing something with it? The ants could be in single file, spiralling in on something. The ants could be arranged in rank and file, ready to invade. The ants could be spelling the words "ants". There could be a horde of smaller ants following a much larger "boss" ant. There could be a bunch of red ants with only one big black ant. There could be an imminent battle of black ants versus red ones.

There are so many possibilities to capitalize on, yet you are happy with only one image. You need to ask yourself why that is. This is what I mean when I say you need to take a step back.

The main subject aside... I think that's good general advice sharply_done.

I think your ideas are a good way forward sharpshot. Clustershot appear open to suggestions I hope this is one they pursue.

The Photodeck domain is owned by Jef Maion, a successful outdoor and landscape photographer, so will be interesting to see what he comes up with.

Yes that looks interesting, thanks.

I can't  :)

I just withdrew from the partner programs on all sites that allow it, 6 months in advance of going exclusive.  Hopefully that will give enough time for my images to be removed from those affiliates.

I hope you continue to post here with your views on all of the sites after you are exclusive Lisa.

Hi,
I'm new here. My englisch is not good, I'm from Germany.
The following interests me, I have belonged from Cutcuster. Do you have there regular sales?

Small but regular sales including extended licences. Still well worth supporting the site.

Not sure where you are from Kone but you should also look into the legal side of things. Photographing children can be a sensitive subject.

If its for a business card keep it simple and well designed. Id just use a few bullet points listing the service you provide rather than a sentence.
