Royalties between 22-35%, started selling daily middle of last month, sales are steady for me.
My products show (with that royalty) in the first few pages of search results for products. I have half marketplace sales and half 3rd party referred sales. Real happy with the results so far.

My sales are still consistent, and I'm seeing the ramp-up for the buying season is in effect now.  I have no complaints at all, I kept my royalties in the 20-30% range, still getting plenty of 3rd party sales, and love the new layout. It's larger and cleaner. We started earlier this year at Cafe Press, as well, and we're seeing more and more sales there, too, but Zazzle is still our main earner.

My honey bears sold pretty well at iStock, but not anywhere else. Was a shame to pull them down, but it was more of a shame to have them at iStock.

Jumped the gun by an hour, only because our internet is hit or miss, mostly, and I have a good connection RIGHT NOW. lol Thanks to Sean for the greasemonkey script! WOW, that was easy!! 263 in my "iStock Deactivation" mail folder. One left on site, in case they decide to pay me what is still in my bank. And I've never felt so relieved to have that monkey off of our backs!

Ok, we copied our list  I had the postcard down to one of 14 pictures, then I found a whole block of images I'd forgotten we had... And Robert saw some that HE thought we should send... We'll figure it out in the next few days, I promise!! ((we are NOT procrastinators, we are just undecided! LOL))

We deleted our port at FT in March of 2009 because of credit card fraud, mass rejections, incorrect crediting on our account and other such things.
As tempting as it has been to re-activate our account and grab some money, it's topics like this that make me glad that I never did. Money doesn't buy happiness, ethical treatment does.

If you go to your "My Account" page, and go to your products, there on the bar you will see a "sort by stats" link. You can see stats on which products are being looked at by day, week, month or all time. Fun to play with? YES!! But it's like counting views. Doesn't mean much of anything. Sometimes store owners will open your product so they know how to keyword or categorize their products. As for the one click quick create, I don't use it. I prefer to make my products one at a time. There is nothing more annoying than looking at the new products page and seeing 463 tee shirts, different styles and colors, with the same isolated apple design on them. If you're going to make a product, you should be more interested in making a product that is going to sell, rather than just anything to fill your store, IMO. TBAs are fun to get, but aside from a tiny little award on the page, they don't really mean much in the end But, again, they ARE fun to get. The quickest way to know is to check your comments, people are usually quick to congratulate the winners of the latest awards! My husband and I are a team. He has been shooting most of his life. He does the lighting, shooting and editing. I do the keywording and manage our online portfolios. I do some shooting (mostly outdoor or images with him in them), but he does the bulk of it. Our styles compliment eachother, and at this stage, it's very difficult for even us to tell who shot what. We both have creative input. I will gather items and put them on his whitebox, and he uses those items in that day's series of images. But our basic art is different. He is an artist first, I was a musician first. So I let him take the design lead on most of it, and just enjoy what he produces for me to keyword and upload.

I was just gonna say, our friend usually puts them in the fridge for about ten minutes. It slows them down long enough for him to take their pics, but when they warm up again, they scurry around. Good luck!

Dropping to 15% here.
They've moved to my "Stock sites on hold" folder, and will be deleted/deactivated in a few weeks, as soon as we hit payout again.
By the way, I'm one of the ones that deleted our port at Fotolia when they did their mess, and tho they are in the top tier, I console myself by knowing I don't have to deal with their mess anymore, either.
Everywhere I chat, I ask in the room if there are designers there, or ppl that use stock images, and find a way to let people know that Getty is trying to form a monopoly in the industry. I also recommend other sites to anyone that will listen. I've got a few friends that network with designers and other artists, and they are helping to get the word out, too.
So, while it isn't much, I'm doing my best to help the cause.

Thank you for your answers. I figured out the issue, I was using a large date range for the shoots for models we use frequently. The 2 model releases in question (wife and business partner) were assumed to be covered under the blanket "self-portrait" images, as all three of us are covered under our Company blanket. Corrected and resolved Thanks!

Ok, NOW what?
I've been submitting to iStock for a while now, and have several model images up. But now, I'm getting this rejection for EVERY model image I am putting up:
++This image uses a non-standard form of model release. Although we accept valid model releases that are not in iStockphoto's standard form, the model release attached with this photograph does not comply with iStockphoto's legal standards. In the future we recommend that you use the standard iStockphoto release.,
These releases are ALREADY on the site with other photos. These are not new releases. I have model name, address, phone number, e-mail address, birthdate, AND a copy of their driver's license attached to the release. I also have photographer's signature, our company name, contact information, AND witness signature, printed witness name and date.
So, what am I missing?? Should I submit to Scout? Or just stop uploading people? It's quite discouraging, and I worry that if I make too big a fuss, they will pull ALL of my model images from the site, as I have been using the same release since the beginning. Anyone have a clue for me?

Thank you all We're traveling in a custom van and a 27' Prowler Travel Trailer with 2 cats and 2 parrots. LOL Will keep everyone posted from the road I attached a pic, just a snapshot, we'll get a better one soon!

We decided to retire at 44, and are traveling the country adding to our portfolio. Stock will be one of the incomes we count on, it's been steady enough to know that if we start pushing our portfolio we should have better sales. We traded in our concrete foundation for black rubber tires. We're young enough to enjoy camping, and being mobile will allow us to be in some important spots when things are going on. The amount of income isn't important to us. What IS important is we now have freedom. Freedom to pursue what we love the most. Freedom to travel at will, and in comfort. Not to mention, it sure is nice, knowing we don't have to worry about rent or mortgage payments! I know it's not for everyone, but it IS right for us, so we're starting this adventure in a few days! We just have to finish selling off the furniture tomorrow, then we can roll out of here We're going to be blogging on it, and we have a facebook fan page Feel free to follow us there! Personally I feel really bad for having singled her out. She's been a really great sport and very gracious about this.
Lisa, you are right. I guess I was just a bit twisted around in my seat this morning when I posted that. Others had been complaining that people with non-existant ports were flagging, I thought it was odd that Ms. Boughn would flag this obviously nude image as being incorrectly labeled "nude". And, I guess, a little upset. So, I apologize for being a bit jumpy. It is the only image that has been flagged in the last few months, so I removed the keyword and am pressing on for now. If it starts to happen more frequently, I will look deeper into it.

Yet another reason to do some homework before you upload to a site. There are several threads here in this forum dealing with Albumo. Just reading one or two would be enough to steer any contributor from signing up. 400 Day lock-in on images, lack of any response from Albumo representatives *whoever they are*, their *main* HQ located in a residential apartment complex, the inability to delete more than one photo per day, ... the list is endless Good luck, I hope you find a speedy solution.
