The working ones are:
SS, DT, BS, Canstock, Yay, Panther, Cutcaster, iSign, Zoonar, Most, Photodune
The ones that don't work are:
Crestock, Veer, Clipdealer, Fotolia, Scanstock, Deposit, 123, Stockfresh
Some of these I set up as FTP, but appear to be connecting fine in the Channels section, except for 123 that never seems to connect at all.
Graphic Leftovers didn't work but I think their FTP is down.

Thanks Steve. Since HTTP (web) access did not work for some channels I switched them recently to FTP. Here is the listFrom your above list it includes Crestock, Veer, Fotolia, Deposit, 123. So if you previously used one of these you can delete it and set it up again using your FTP credentials. Scanstock and Stockfresh - I checked your definitions and FTP works fine there. However, I could not see any media assigned to these channels - could you please verify? Clipdealer' FTP is down: -- Hi David,
Due to some maintenance work on our server the FTP is currently down. I'm not sure how long this will take so please try it again next week.

No, there is no upper limit on number of channels you can have.
If you still have problems let me know what channels do not work for you.

Could you check the main sites. I have had my files distributed to 8 small sites, but none to SS, DT, BS CanStockPhoto

Maybe I wrote too early! After my successful experiment with one image, I uploaded the next 180, but they are not being distributed, at least so far. No worries just yet, but it has been about 10 hours since they arrived.
I'll update when I see some more progress.

I was testing the system this weekend, was switching off the automatic distribution. So some of your images could be uploaded when I ran my manually tests. Now I put the auto-distribution back, looks like all images for all customers are being distributed. Will take a few hours to empty the queue.

I think I found it today...
It looks like Amazon Web Service admins added a (set of) firewall(s) requiring passive FTP connections to the remote hosts.
They did it very silently without informing their customers.
So suddenly all LB FTP 'put' calls started to fail with a very strange error message - without changing a line of code from our side.
Took me some time to find out what is the root of this problem, sorry for the delay.
Switching to passive FTP connection mode solves the issue in my tests.
LB code is now updated, good to try.

I can't verify my custom FTP channel for Fotolia...
Can someone help me how to create it?
Probably I have mistake, but i don't know where during creating a new channel...

I think lightburner is not working currently. Btw. keyword suggestion tool in lightburner does'nt work  , Also in ProStockMaster 2.0.1. there is a problem when i want to use suggest keyword and enter more than one keyword, always error. Why is that? in older versions i have used key phrases with no problem. Now in 2.0.1. version it seem this is not possible. It is strange that he cant suggest kewords for example "celsus library".
Lightburner is back now after a short outage due to a disk issue. Keyphrases - will look into that

Hi all, I invite you to try the new PSM 2.0 Beta for Windows, which works exclusively with your Lightburner account. Please make sure you read release notes at http://prostockmaster.com/microstock/prostockmaster2-for-windows-beta/ and do not forget to make a copy of your JPGs before applying any metadata change to them. Though if you work in RAW in Adobe LR/PS and can generate JPGs anytime you should not worry.

Cutcaster went out of the order with a new release of their web site shortly after the current version of Lightburner was released  Either I will put it back manually one day, or - much better for all of us - John Griffin' people will finally implement the API I sent them about a year ago. We'll see who is first on that, John Fotolia is a different story. Some junior brave Fotolia security officer understood after 6 month of serious brainstorming that Ligtburner stores Fotlia credentials in the Lightburner' database. So that officer decided that such a bad app is an evil and it must be blocked at the IP level. As the result, at the moment Lightburner.com can not work with Fotloia simply because some stupid Fotolia sysadmin decided to add IP-level blocking firewall rules for all HTTP requests sent from Lightburner. Thank you my dear Fotolia for the business we generate you free of charge. The bottom line: both sites will work if you define private custom FTP channels for them.(which is even more stupid my dear Fotolia security warriers)

Fotolia indeed looks broken, will look into it.
I told Pierre they have to update their API with an upload option, but it is still not there, so everything goes through the web pages.
Any change their webmasters do can affect the delivery, and this is what happened.
Hello Fotolia, are you interested to get more content or what? Do something guys, I am getting really tired of fixing the things that should never break.

Thank you for this excellent service.
Unfortunately I am facing the following problems:
1. Crestock and Cutcaster do not work. It can not save the login info though i can log in to both the sites individually.
If a site does not work for you over HTTP you can always create a custom FTP channel.
2. As I upload to the /upload directory in remote site, I can not see the photos in "my portfolio" section immediately. How long does it take to process the photos and appear?
It is not an immediate process, but it should not take more than 10 min for your photos to appear.
3. This is very important: I tried 5 test upload to Alamy. In the information of the respective photographs, I see that the photos are mentioned as of 72dpi whereas originally these are 300dpi images. Does LB automatically downsizes the dpi? And if yes, how can I prevent it from doing so? Please note that I do not have the resize option enabled under channel preference.
No upsize / downsize if you did not selected that. Excuse my French, but DPI settings are a complete crap for a digital image. Look at the width and the height of the image in pixels. Did the image size change?
4. Using FileZilla (OS XP) I uploaded 5 photos, but I can see only 3 under "Assets". The other two are listed in the remote directory but not appearing under "Assets" in my LB portfolio. I waited for about 20 minutes.
It could be a problem in the images causing your images failed to upload. The most typical problem is a 'strange' file name (international, non a-z0-9 symbols etc)
Give me your username at LB, I'll look into it.
5. In FileZilla I am getting a warning related to "Unknown Host Key". What is it? Should I worry about it?

We had a short outage for the service yesterday. Thanks for Angelika for letting me now. It's the first failure in 7 months. I guess it's still much better than many other online systems do.
Technical details:
It looks like the DB received to many connections yesterday, probably we had too many web service processes trying to work in parallel with the DB - still need to be investigated.
The system is fully back now and all the images uploaded to LB should be distributed soon (probably they already are).

I am not monitoring each and every thread on MSG. I occasionally saw this one.
There is another thread on LightBurner where I receive notifications when someone replies.
In general, if you have a problem or a question please address it to my email (in signature).
It's the best way to get the timely answers.

Thanks for your kindly words.
Here is the current status with CutCaster & Panthermedia: they DO NOT WORK as pre-defined channels, here is why -
- PantherMedia uses our API, but they have some IT problems with that on their side, for a long time now. So the uploads 'went out of order' in December 2010, and it is still there. FTP-ing there is the way to get the files with them. Not so good, since there is no sales stats with FTP
- CutCaster - initially I implemented their protocol, but they came with a completely redesigned web site a month later. John has our API and hopefully one day they will implement it. Till than - FTP there.
Definitely the more people will contact PantherMedia and CC asking for LightBurner / ProStockMaster support (it's the same API for both tools) the faster you will be able to work with them.

Steve, Actually I can not. As far as I can see there are no operational issues with the system in the last few weeks. About a month ago we solved a major problem with distribution, which caused content distribution to hang up from time to time. Since then the things look quite reliable - it plain works, at least at my side.
