Print on Demand Forum / Re: Sold one business card again! :D

That's fantastic. I also sold two cards - both made out of (cropped) photos that were previously rejected in microstock.

And sure enough, there are a few MS sites in which I haven't reached $10 as of yet, so PBC has proved a better business!

Saludos!

Not only people. I sent a small batch of objects and it took them less than 24 hours (much of which were during the night). That's absolutely great!

I appreciate Yuri takes his time to comment and write for the community. I wonder if what he says will become the "Yuri Effect", when it comes to shaking one stock service or give a boost to other :)

General Stock Discussion / Re: Anyone Experience This?

Several of the photos I uploaded at first to microstock sites were just "gathering dust" in my computer or backup CDs. One of them I particularly shot for a joke that I never carried out, and it has turned to be one of the best sellers.

OTOH, I see some sites have more or less constant sales, while others take "jumps" after several days - some of them months - of inactivity.

So my point is, what's the trouble of letting them sit around there, instead of your hard disk? I think they will eventually pay off, and you already went through selecting, keywording, etc...

My $0.02
