Why would you want to become exclusive at a middle-tier (for earnings) agency? From a financial point of view it just doesn't make sense at all.
Because I know many photographer do well at IS, but never heard somebody success at fotolia . So, the first choice to become an exclusive contributor is Istockphoto?

There is currently an issue with iStock login - I'm working on it. Other sites should work fine
Is fixed ? Why can I change my agency account ID... I try to remove this software and re-install, but the data still there!!!! no confidence using this software again...

I find that I had one image sold in my " sale statistics " page , and show this message :
Date sold: Jun 8, 2011 Earnings: API sale (PixMac)
So, how much I earned from this API sale ?

Is it worth to be an exclusive video contributor at iStockphoto? Any exclusive contributor can share your experience ?

Well, it used to be the main image on a page, the image that would catch your eye first. It was usually the biggest and most dramatic. When I designed catalogs there was often one main money shot on most spreads and smaller ones to go along with the impact of what we would call the hero image.
I see, thank you very much.

I've only got a handful of images, and no sales, but they are getting viewed.
My problem is that I keep losing files in upload. I upload them, and they never show up in the "unfinished" section - I know how the system works, but they're not even there the next day, never mind in a couple of hours. This has been happening for a couple of days now.
On the other hand, the support team seems to be very good there.
Please write us at the site and give your user name when you write. We still have some growing pains with the FTP right now. It is much better for a small submitter to use the site uploader. Please give details of your experience, such as FTP client used, number if images, time uploaded etc.
If you have IPTC in your images, they should go right to queue for initial screening. There is no need for then to go to and Unfinished area unless there is no IPTC present, We don't require placing images into "categories". It's almost silly and you would not believe the number of images that 1) would get it wrong and 2) have images that just don't fit into any preconceived category.
I have the same problem... FTP and Web uploading are not work !! I upload more than 500+ images and I don't want to try again....
For upload problems please email the site with your username an as many details as possible regarding the problem. Stating it here will confirm possible trouble amongst users, but we don't always get a change to check in here.
We are aware of some strange goings on with the FTP and fixes are in progress. The site uploader should function normally. If you have lost images via the site uploader, again, please write us with accurate info.
Ok, I will try email again.... I sent a mail at 3/18 already, but still no reply.

I can download my own files in 123RF before, but now it can't be download for free! What's happen? I like 123RF very much because it like a free picture backup system. Does 123RF decide to close this feature? It's so sad
Hi Elwynn,
Good day to you.
You can download your own files for "FREE" although the credit tab display credits use to download the file.
Hope this information helps.
Cheers, Anglee.
you mean.... pay credit to buy my own images ? When I click "Download" button in my image page, it take me to "Purchase Credits or Subscribe" page. I still can not find how to download my images for free.

I don't know all the details so hope you're right ... I have nothing against them, they were kind and friendly, but it would be big mistake for us to do again Sizif's job.
I don't know all the details, either. And that's not important. Finally, they sold their company just for money and did not care about us. I believe that they will do that again. I love StockXpert, but I don't know if StcokFresh .....

I got mail from Fotolia :
---------------------------------------- Dear Contributor, We are happy to inform you that one of your files has been sold.Selling creative content licenses is an economic activity. Income derived from these sales may be subject to U.S. IRS (Internal Revenue Service) Withholding Tax. It is important that our contributors, and Fotolia, comply with tax law. So, we invite you to visit the Tax Center and to review the information listed on that page. Until you complete this procedure and the appropriate form is validated, your Fotolia income will be subject to automatic withholding at the appropriate tax rate. By submitting the applicable form, you may benefit from a reduced or zero withholding rate on your income. We suggest you complete this procedure as soon as possible. Best Regards,Fotolia Team ------------------------------------------
Then I check my sold image (subscription):
Purchase Date : 2010-01-01 11:43:36 Purchase License : L Commission : 0.2232
0.2232.....so sad. It was 0.31 before. So, My question is Fotolia withhold every sold image? Did anyone sold image without withhold (not US buyer)?
And, my country in Taiwan and had no Tax Treaty.....
