Cheap, unprofessional and not at all creative 
unprofessional ? no more unprofessional than the Big 6 moving subscription prices lower until there is no ground rules left. cheap? not as cheap as the prices the competitors have our images selling at not at all creative ? that's totally up to the buyers to decide.

ARGH.
I think that you are missing PB's point, and that was that the original "attack" was on this person who came from nowhere to spout off a whole lot of nonsense about something she clearly knew very little about. SHE is NOT making money on microstock because she is not (yet) participating in microstock.
I don't think PB was trying to draw lines of differentiation between the levels of contributor here, only between those who actually have real experience and knowledge of microstock, and those who clearly do not.
granted whatalife, c'est cool ! but that still does not entitle gostwyck to be obnoxious. and PB to mouth off to mention Stacey with equal exuberance, a la gostwyck. still, i accept the consequence. it is a forum, i can take as much as i give. so , let's get used to it, like it or not. i don't have a life, i am not successful , so this is my only life, why not? the irony to all this? the ones who insist we get a life is spending as much time over here as we are. If I am not mistaken, that other woman that gostwyck did so consistently personally attack at this forum and IS forum is ALSO MAKING MONEY AT MICROSTOCK. so being successful at making money in micro stock or anywhere does not entitle anyone to be offensive. Further more, I AM FINANCIALLY SUCCESSFUL IN THE BUSINESS WORLD, NOT MICROSTOCK , but still MAKING MONEY. So, in your bent opinion, I qualify to be OFFENSIVE here too. BECAUSE I AM MAKING MONEY... in the REAL STOCK MARKET world. i TOO, ACCORDING TO YOU, have CARTE BLANC to be offensive like Gost. Nobody ganged up on Lisa. She elicited opinions from everyone on the site, both with her copy and pasted rant repeatedly, and her insinuation that no one here knows what they are doing. If anyone agreed with her, they were free to post as well, although posting in nonsense talk normally doesn't help make a cause.

It happens when people drink/smoke/inject more than they can handle. I assume it's why they both change their forum names every few days too, must loss of memory or embarrassment when they sober up.

whatver John's ulterior motive is, if it is to dig at those Big 6 who have been giving us their incredible curve balls, I wholeheartedly say, "Go for it Cutcaster!
If you truly wish contributors get better commissions, then, I hope you succeed . out of getting the buyers to think they should be paying as much on good images as they themselves expect their work to be highly valued".
i , for one, cannot believe that ALL BUYERS are scavengers, and will only pay us peanuts.
it's the blooming greed of the Big 6 of micro stock that have made the buyers think like scavengers, and that we, the contributors do not deserve to be paid anything more than a few pennies for our work.
I think you give the buyers more credit than they deserve.
Buyers are no different from children. They will take whatever daddy and mommy allow them . In fact, some, if not many, of these buyers were living on daddy's credit card through Art School, and are used to getting everything for nothing. They don't know what value is.
If the sites can sell for more, don't you think they would?
u mayb just be right . re. the mentality of the generation. but, not all buyers belong of that generation of "mooches". many are of the generation that are used to traditional stock photos, and of an era where a photographer is paid well. the buyers have been weaned to get as much for next to nothing. look at the ads on the main page of 4 out of 5 of every micro stock site. what dya see as headlines? u don't see , "we charge more because our images are the best!" you only see, "now you can get even more for less!" every blooming site is competing with the other to drop the sub prices to lower than the next guy. until the agenda of the project is not "better commission for our contributors" but "we hear what our buyers are saying ". there are enough wannabees to replace anyone who suddenly wakes up to think that getting a few pennies for their images is ridiculous . the sites know that, and the world is very full of the next horde of wannabees with cheaper DSLRs. even if the whole of North Am quits on micro, the whole of China can replace them 10 folds, and the sites will not even blink or miss any one of you who quits and pull out your portfolio.

Well, I can't make StockXpert better because I am almost equally approved at both StockXpert and IS.
The images IS reject are mostly crap anyway. At least in my case. I am very harsh on myself, and I suggest you do it too. Haven't seen your port but I think everyone should questions themselves before they get mad at the sites. Your approval ratio on IS will go up, if you find the answers! It is not like IS hates you You gotta figure out what they want and stop shooting what they don't want.
not sure if I entirely agree with you. at one time, it was easier to get approval with StockXpert than IS. but lately, i find it weird that some of my rejected stuff at StockXpert are getting approved at IS. you would expect it to be either equal or IS being more strict. maybe i had atilla at StockXpert that day. rejected all my images which a week later got all approved by IS. anyway, i think StockXpert is nuts and prefer it to die anyway. IS is definitely the place to be.

while sales have been 'normal'... I am leary about uploading.. I like StockXpert and have had a good relationship with them and I want to upload....but... sadly, StockXpert isnt calling the shots now, big brother seems to be....
