It appears that the old glitch is back. Anyone else having trouble logging into BS?

DepositPhotos / Re: Search Engine Not Working!!
« on: September 22, 2016, 17:10 »
Same here. (BTW, the search engine does not work correctly at least since the end of August.) Wrote to them on Sep 07, but still to no avail, since about 60% of my portfolio does not come up in the search. And yes, almost no sales this month (14 by now vs. 54 in August).

IMO, something is wrong with sales reporting. To date, just one sale shown for May, while normally I got 20-30 per month for years...

.. This month they have died completely - only one sale for $.25. ..

Alas, you are not alone. Rather interesting sales graphs and stats have been posted at http://www.canstockphoto.com/forum_read.php?id=6054

« on: April 17, 2012, 09:05 »
..  I've had about four dozen pix approved since April 1, and none of them have appeared yet. ..

+ 1

Same here. More than three dozen approved at the very beginning of April and are still not indexed and available via search by keywords. And obviously, as per MarjorieB's post, customer support is just useless.

Dreamstime.com / Re: DT Pricing Changes? Stay tuned...
« on: April 12, 2012, 14:08 »
None of my files that sold climbed up in levels, it seems only the bad news some of you expected came true; I got payed less than ever for a level 0 XS DL:

1 credit (2010)   $0.18   extrasmall

And here is at least one reason why it could happen.

Interestingly enough, when I am logged in, DT for my port still shows the same old levels, while after logging out and deleting their cookies, my images goes up by one level when browsed...

Even more interestingly, it is reflected in my earnings as well. On April 10, when the level mess was already up and running, two images were reported as sold in accordance with the old levels scheme (namely, as a level 2 and 3 sales), while for buyers, they were already available (and apparently bought) as a level 3 and 4 purchases respectively...

Well done, DT! Really well done!...  >:(

« on: February 20, 2012, 11:14 »
.. Please reply and tell me if you can see this well? ..

This is just to reconfirm that, during browsing from the certain EU countries (e.g. from LV, LT, EE IPs), the thumbnail fetching still fails for the large amount of recently accepted images, i.e. 11 out of 18 from my portfolio still do not load when found via search. The same is valid for certain amount of other portfolios as well.

123RF / Re: 123RF Loading Problems
« on: February 17, 2012, 16:38 »
.. We've checked it from our end and everything is OK. ..

I'd appreciate it if you would refrain from making totally untrue and misleading statements.

Since your servers still behaves erratically and fetching / parsing scripts still remain misconfigured (and, according to you, dependent on IP blocks, which is nonsense), it's obvious that nothing is ok at your side. FYI, I am browsing from the EU (up-to-date Win XP, IE VIII), and not going to send yet another mail to [email protected] just to get no reaction or senseless suggestions.

.. In my case, newer approved pictures cant load. Only text is loading. But older images works fine.

+1

Same here. The thumbnail fetching still fails for a large amount of recently accepted images, i.e. 11 out of 18 do not load for 2-3 days already when found via search... About 1K of old content works just fine.

Never replied to my emails re. the tax issue either. What if I didn't read this forum? hmmmm

Be sure to take a look at Depositphoto witholding tax rip off! thread as well: http://www.microstockgroup.com/15172/15172/msg240109/#msg240109

Their stats are still a total mess!

As of today, my "Earned Before Tax", "Tax Withheld" and "Net Earned" columns seem to be in sync, but not so the princely "All Time Totals" ($67.49), Amount Paid ($50.53; BTW, after reminder) and Balance ($16.16 (?!))...

Needless to say, DP comment on these manipulations would be really welcome...

I'd strongly recommend everyone to check DP sales stats for January!

Just FYI, my "Earned Before Tax" column (and consequently, "Net Earned" as well) still shows two L Size Standard sales from January 13-15 with 30 percent withholding (i. e. $0.92 instead of $1.32), while in my case, those should appear as $1.32 before tax minus 10% in "Tax Withheld" and $1.19 in "Net Earned" column.

And now judge for yourself -- this is what I got from their support in response to my yesterday's inquiry: "Hello, .. we have already fixed the tax system and everything that was assessed incorrect, has been already returned to your account .. "

My agent was speechless...

I have been told, that all wrongly deducted tax up to today has been or will be refunded today. ..

Again, really?! Marius, would you then be so kind to comment here the snapshot as of Jan 17 (pls. login to view the image; click to enlarge). FYI, L Standards shall appear as 1.32 before tax. Also, please note that my copyright agent is always keen to get involved when it comes to cases like this one. Thanks!

There has been a change - the column with Witholding taxes has, indeed, been cleared. No more withheld taxes are shown. .. However: The withheld taxes have now been deducted from the  "Before taxes" column, so they have not been added to the "Net Earned" column.

It's still counting... Just to illustrate what Corepics was saying earlier (you should be logged in to see the image; click to enlarge):

.. that was a bug yesterday which is fixed and the sales that were made in this time will be corrected into the according tax statuses. Please check and confirm, that it has been fixed on your account as well.

Obviously, nothing has been fixed so far...

Same here: correctly filled 10% country W-8 BEN submitted a month (yes, a month!) ago and still "pending" (?!), just have got my first 30% deducted from a sale on January 13... Come on, guys...  >:(

« on: September 15, 2011, 15:53 »

+1 Same here (IE8). Most likely, something is going wrong with their php scripts and/or database fetching.

StockXpert.com / Re: Thinkstock earning posted
« on: August 16, 2011, 17:26 »
.. earning is about 1/4 of that of previous months. ..

+1, about 75-80% down from average monthly figures.

IMO, it is obvious that, *once again*, StockXpert/Thinkstock sales stats for July were posted just partially (to put it mildly)...

P.S. To stockmarketer: FYI, we are not talking about IS/Thinkstock stats here.

Eh, They posted new earnings for may but it seams to be reduced by factor 3x from previous months?!

I always get about 30-40$ per month, now I see only 10$...

IMNSHO, it's time to drop a kind line or two again -- just to express our profound gratitude to Joy and Darek.  ;)

Obviously, this is just a cheap and dirty way to postpone payments one more time.

IMO, it would be more than appropriate to collectively contact Joy Griffith (Senior Director, Client & Contributor Relations at iStockphoto; [email protected]) again, demanding a clear answer on when we might expect the March earnings posted.

Mine is changing by the minute!!!

Same here -- about 6 repeats already. Obviously, they play that game again and all we can do is just extract the actual number of dls for our own record by checking the repeat pattern. Also, it goes without saying that they shall fix it in a timely manner i.e. well before end of April.

Dreamstime.com / Re: This is getting ridiculous
« on: March 18, 2011, 09:58 »
I think they are trying to get people to combine multiple images from a series into a single image, much like all the illustrators buttonsets, etc.   Thats crap, its already cheap enough at microstock prices, why would I be offering buy one get four free?

I'd say it would be a good idea to collectively remind DT that their insistent requests on creating image sets are completely illegitimate. As copyright owners, we have exclusive rights to decide in which form to sell our intellectual property.

BTW, a new rejection gem just emerged: "Please submit several/all images from this series as a single file (image)."

CanStockPhoto.com / Sales Balance not Updating?!
« on: March 16, 2011, 08:25 »
With about 700 photos online, never had more than 4 - 5 days with no sale. Strangely enough, no new sales for 18 days, i.e. since Feb. 27...

Did you experienced this kind of drought?
