Hi Leaf,

The photos were in 250 GB HDD which crashed after multiple Filesystem inconsistencies (In India, we frequently experience power-cuts). I was able to recover many of my personal photos. But unfortunately most of the stock photos were lost.

Hi Leszek,

Thanks for the reply. I will do as you said. If others have any more ideas, please respond.

It was my blunder not to back up my photos. I hope it will be a lesson for everybody else.

Take care

You have very good collection of Avionics and Landscapes with Snow photos...

Thought of starting a new thread on DT Acceptance ration. Request the readers to place their DT Acceptance ration.

Here is mine : 25.5 %

Thanks for the suggestion on 2nd image.

I will submit other image of the same subject without flowers. I thought presence of flowers might add some design and if not required can always be removed as it occupies the bottom portion ;).

Please advice me on the first....

Dreamstime.com / DT Rejection... Need to learn!!!
« on: February 06, 2007, 07:34 »
This one is rejected from DT where as all other Stock sites have accepted it.

The reason they gave is,
"Poor execution, please pay more attention to detail. Such as: too simplistic, poorly traced images, faceted curves, aliased lines, distorted pixels on lines as well as on various images used within the illustration, moiree due to downsampling."

I started this career with DT and still I have far less images in DT than any other sites :(. I have learned a lot from DT rejections. The rejections dont daunt me. But they need to be reasonable ;)
One possible problem could be unrealistic crack. Can anyone please point me to a link where I can learn about producing realistic crack in Photoshop. I have been already been through this tutorial http://www.lunacore.com/photoshop/tutorials/tut029.htm

I request forum members to give their opinions on this image so as to improve it.

The below image also faced the same AXE effect...

Image is out of focus or too much of the subject is out of focus (DOF too shallow or DOF not justified) / Image is shaken. Use a faster speed or a tripod. Please check the files at 100% zoom before submitting them.

Actually in the above image I didnt find any blurs or out of focus issues...

Please do comment...

Thanks in advance

Hi Peiling,

Congragulations on your EL sale....

To others (even though I am a newbie...) Keep up the spirit. Keep trying without loosing hope. Yet I need to see light at LO :)

This is one of the happiest day of my life....

Guess what!!! I am trying to sell my images from many days, and got the breakthrough today... Not single but double.

One image was sold on BigStockPhoto and another in Dreamstime... Both on the same day... I am very happy.... Thought of sharing my happiness with you all..

Yeah... I know I am jumping like a small boy who got his favorite toy from his father.

This site is phenomenal in guiding me. Very good work moderators.

Here are the links to images...

I have many other interesting photos in the portfolio... So bit(only a bit!!!) sad that my first download didn't come them... :(

Moderator, please move to appropriate location... I am not sure where to post it!!! Posting on both forums....
