Canva / Re: Has anyone tried to quit Canva?
« on: October 13, 2020, 16:02 »
I quit a year ago when sales went down and Getty swamped the site, recently noticed some of my images are still available for sale in templates, even though my account is deactivated!

I think go with your own personal instinct, mine says no Im not standing for that level of greed and luckily I can afford to ditch SS completely, happy to move onto pastures new no regrets at all.

3
Have disabled all files for now, if nothing changes in the next month may as well close the account. Was hoping enough people would disable to prompt some action from SS, but can understand not everyone can afford to, especially while other income sources for creators have dried up with the virus. Almost like they knew people would be desperate at the moment, quite evil really.

yep already disabled sales yesterday, seems to work no new sales and normally get 15 -20 per day

Just turned off sales for both my portfolios in the settings, takes 5 seconds, if things change then Ill turn them back on otherwise not worth it

This does seem worse than a Getty move and I left them for similar reasons, any small incentive from Adobe and I would go exclusive.

What's the negative bar about... refunds/reversals?

I would say that is a refund of the yellow bar from the previous month, exact same size!

Just redeemed mine, thanks Adobe nice move!

General Stock Discussion / Re: Bad july.. How was yours?
« on: August 01, 2018, 02:43 »
Surprisingly I'm 20% up on July 2017 and 25% up on June 2018 revenues.
No improvement for SS, but good month at AS, AL and P5.
123RF, DT, CS slowly dying. Have deleted 500px ( because now Getty ) and GL accounts.

In which case the "exciting" "major enhancement" is a 4 fold reduction of royalty

will be amazed if we get 30% of the actual sale price, more like 30% of the royalty paid from Getty to 500px I would imagine?

yep, that's a shame, just when I had faith in a new site! Sales will only go down now surely?

13
Overall 15% increase compared to March income. Pretty good month at SS, FT, AL and Canva. For me P5, 123, PD, DT, DP and CS slowly dying. Dont bother with Getty, cant bring myself to accept 15%.

General - Top Sites / Re: How Was Your October?
« on: November 03, 2017, 03:32 »
Encouraging results at FT with BME 2 months in a row now. Pretty good at Canva and 123. SS and DT seem be on new consistently lower levels.

General Stock Discussion / Re: How was your April?
« on: May 02, 2017, 04:36 »
So far in 2017 SS a consistent 30% down on 2016 which is a worry.  FT, DT, DP CS very close to 2016. Good month on Canva, 123 and Alamy, but not enough to balance drop on SS.

General Stock Discussion / Re: How is your March?
« on: April 02, 2017, 01:51 »
Unfortunately, not a good month for me with overall revenue 33% down compared to March 16. Main problem is low sales at SS not helped by declining sales on DT. Closed my IS account back in October. On positive side Canva remains strong and Pond 5 BME.

First 2 months of the year SS revenue 32% down compared to 2016, sales seemed to die as 2017 started.

PhotoDune / Re: Anyone unworthy of Photodune yet?

I've been booted out, bit of a blow to be be told your files aren't worthy.  :'(

Im just trying it - and yep, it doesnt work. When I get to the screen where you need to put the deactivation reason and click on Deactivate file button - nothing happens! Is this a joke?  >:(

agreed this has stopped working and only 700 to go

20
Not straight forward deleting 1500 files one at a time though, only 1100 to go!
Are you deactivating all your files? If so, wouldn't it be easier just to contact CR to close your account?

Would love to, but have audio files too and Getty offering good terms for those sales

Aren't there separate contracts/accounts for different media? (I'm not sure, but I think so)

Have sent a ticket to see if this is possible thanks

21
Yep paying 35% though

Think I will delete all my files now while I still can, prefer to have control over my work!

I can't find it either. It looks like payments, sales, portfolio links are missing.

I agree, those links not showing on my account. https://www.canva.com/sales works and is updating with sales today
