My respect for the authors and what they have done, but I cannot accept to pay for Photoshop+Lightroom - $12/month but for Microstockr Pro - $8.49/month! I think it's not adequate price!

I am out!

Hi Mat,

Sorry, but I didn't found a standard price for 4K and UHD on the site! There is only price for extended licence - 200 credits,  which is the same like HD resolution! Do you mean that the 4K will be available only extended with the same price as HD?

Also, there is no filter for 4K and UHD and I couldn't found my files through the search engine!

Try this : http://www.iceflowstudios.com/2013/tutorials/photoshops-content-aware-videos/

It works, but you will need enough power and time to render! Although the huge file, in some cases I think it's worth!

I guess the FT rising is also due to Euro currency fall! Recently the customers with $ could buy 1 credit 10-15% cheaper then last year!

Off Topic / Re: UAS and Model Aircraft - AKA "Drones"
« on: January 13, 2015, 06:04 »
Yes, the drones are dangerous in the airplanes ways!

But I dont understand why FAA and other worldwide agencies governing the air space dont simply determine their operating frequency range and height of flight? This frequency could be controlled(like many others), like a shield in a quite far distance from the airports, military objects, places with many people and other important objects/places? May be it is not easy and cheap, I don't know?

Yes, the drones are only models like other air models. They are very useful in certain cases and there is no point people to be arrested or to die in air crashes because of them!

I would suggest to the admin to include DPC in the Microstock Poll Results on the right.

It would be interesting!

are you opted in? do you have any reports from FT regarding DPC?

I'm opted out 4 weeks ago and will stay! We can only see the difference in the number of files between Fotolia and DPC but I think it would be interesting how are the sales there!
Nobody here is posted such information!

But there is no way to differ DPC-payments from the FT-payments!?
You dont see where the buyer (FT or DPC) has bought the Image.

Yes, it could say only opted in contributors and for all their sales unfortunately...!

Hi john,
Thank you for the presentation! Here I need a little bit more explanation because it is not clear enough for me!
You say:
- Commissions will always be at least 50% from the sale of your content. No hidden fees and additional charges.

and in the "Artist Supplier Agreement" :

4. ...MotionElements shall pay to Supplier an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) multiplied times the gross revenues . ...
gross revenues means payments less any administrative fees, charge backs, refunds, discounts or other credits issued by MotionElements, for sales of Supplier Content ...

What do you mean? Is this means that "at least" is not at least?

I'm amazed to see some of the big collections are still on DPC.
Pressmaster, Syda Productions, olly ...

I'll make sure next time when buy images they are not on DPC and are not from contributors who support DPC!

Thanks Fairplay! It's Fairplay!!!

If Fotolia had informed me in advance and given me the option to individually opt in files for 1 dollar sales, I would probably have added some files. But it would have been low sellers or lower quality files.

Yes, absolutely agree! It have to be a choice of every one contributor, for himself! Me and nobody other, on behalf of me can decide, how could I sell my files!

I use the Easy Release App on my iPhone/iPad and the MRs & PRs are accepted by all the agencies I upload to (eighteen).

Yes, Easy Release App is quite enough also for me! Exists both for iOS and Android. Accepted by many agencies.
