Came here for help. Have a few questions.
I am from tax treaty country and I pay 10% tax to USA for my royalties I earn from my photos. Recently I have started to earn a lot of and I see that I don't have any benefits in my country from this kind of business. So I am wondering:
1) maybe there are some benefits in USA? It sounds strange but I work in USA, I earn thousands $, pay taxes and get nothing, only because physically I am here(in my country)?
2) is it possible to get back those 10%? I mean how about tax return?
3) what is ITIN number or SSC number can I get them and what are the benefits of having it?
4) I buy a lot of expensive equipment but my country doesn't include this in my tax deduction forms, because 1-  the name of my income is ROYALTY 2 - I work in USA and have to fill all tax deduction forms in USA. Can I? What forms? Where?
5) I am getting older and older I start to think about retirement, how much will the government of USA pay me in retirement? Will they pay me at all?
