Hi
You can add a watermark to the image the way as you want so the image will unusable.
I hope it will help.

I wrote in a thread there about a search engine cheat using Opera speed dial (I think that plenty of users are exploiting that) - open nine windows in it and set them to refresh automaticly every X seconds (you're logged out offcourse) and thus generate extremely unfair number of views and occupy first N pages of search engine. If i am not mistaken the views only count if you are logged in. So this cheat won't work. btw, my sales are as normal. well, let's rephrase: my income is as normal. i got more sales, but more of them are subs.

LOL @ pixart. or i'll try to make one with a gold fish jumping from seat to seat.
@ sharply. Yes. you are right. i should have.. well to be precise i did not email the buyer, but sent a PM. anyway i should have done like you said.
But how to define the price? for something like i did now 100 $ would be a bit excessive, wouldn't it? could i asked for 50$ ? 25? 10 ? 30 cts?

A bit a late reply, sorry. But anyway thanks for the tips.
I made the change, uploaded it and PM'ed a reviewer to review it quickly. Then i emailed the buyer... and ... he bought it as subscribtion.... sight.... well. at least i made one buyer happy.

no, he is asking for an illustration a little modified from the original. something like: i made an illustration of a tree full of apples and he needs also an image with only the tree.

What do you do when a buyer bought an image and asks you for a variant of that image?
you make it and upload it? (the buyer has to wait the review-time) you just make it and send it to him/her? (free) you make it and you make him/her pay? (how?)
Cheers Thijs

I qoute from The law of gratitude,
"Being grateful for everything that happens, good or bad, is one of the biggest shifts in the way you think. Gratitude for the good will give you more of it".
Rock on, my friend!!! :-D
"Hello Shutterstock Submitter (Account #xxxxx), Thanks for submiting batch #xxxxxxx. " They do say 'thank you' so why shouldn't i? i don't want to believe a polite 'thanks' can do any harm. (actually i don't write in that 'thank you'-thread after the first payout, but there wouldn't be anything wrong doing so)
